 “You have no choice but to follow me! If you want your money then you have to do what I say! Understand?? Your living under my watch and under my rules!!”

As the boys entered the room they were startled hearing Jin Young’s stern voice.

Hami seating across where Jin Young is, just looked at them when they walked through the door.

“Uhm.. Jin Young hyung..Nam Young said you...you’re looking for us?” Taecyeon said in an unusual gawky manner.

They were used to see their hyung mad and are used hearing hurtful words but still that was the first time they saw Jin Young actually talking to a girl in a harsh tone.

“Ah boys..yes, yes..anjuseyo (please sit down).” Jin Young tapped the two long couches between him and Hami, addressing the boys where to sit.

The boys proceeded and secretly stealing glances to Hami who was at their right.

Hami just looked at them without having any reaction from her face.

Wooyoung couldn’t get his eyes away from the mysterious Hami until their eyes met and Wooyoung just smiled bashfully while Hami shifted her gaze down her phone.

Jin Young obviously in a vexed state introduced the boys to Hami and vice versa “This is Chansung, Wooyoung, Nichkhun, Taecyeon, Junsu and Junho..” from left to right, according to their seats.

Hami glanced on each of the member then went to look at Park Jin Young “..2pm...” then went back again to her phone.

“I’m surprised you know them?! Aigoo...” Jin Young snapped in a sarcastic tone.

Jin Young pointed lazily to Hami “Boys..this is Shin Hami..”

Junho who was seating close to where Hami is reached for her hand to shake it. “A pleasure to meet you Hami ssi!” his eyes smiling.

His fellow members did the same greeting Hami in English except for Wooyoung who just reamianed in his seat and kept glancing at Hami timidly.

“Hami ssi!, I’m Chansung..nice meeting you” bowing while shaking her hand.

“It’s a pleasure to meet you Hami ssi..”Grandpa Junsu introduced himself politely with a smile.

“Hi Ms.Hami, I’m Taec! Glad to have the chance meeting you..” Taec greeting her.

“Hi Ms.Shin..” Khun,showing his handsome smile and looking at Hami meaningfully, as if saying ‘remember me?’ while shaking her hand.

Hami just nodded in suprise to each of the members. She wasn’t expecting them to gleefully greet her.

“Anyways...let’s skip the intros and head to the most important part.” Jin Young suddenly speaking as a manager. “Hami will be working with you starting tomorrow.”

“Really?..uhm..as...??” Junho suddenly excited.

Park Jin Young stared at Hami as if waiting for her to be the one to answer the question. Hami, because of the unpleasant silence, looked at Jin Young but never bothered to speak and just continued with her phone.

“Aissssh..Hopeless kid!!” Jin Young, shaking his head with his hands on his forehead.

He then took a long brown envelope and emptied it. “She’ll be the one to handle your photoshoots for the upcoming photobook 2012 issue..Being a graduate of New York Institue of Photography in States, she has the skills. Even though, it’s hard to tell that she’s good at it from her looks.” saying the last remark in retort.

“Whoa...These are good pictures..” Nichkhun, also being a fan of photography,flabbergasted on each of the photos.

Everyone were amazed by the remarkable photos. Wooyoung even studying in awe each of the photos scattered on the table.

“Hyung! If she’s the one to handle our photoshoots then I would never disagree..” Chansung having a wide grin on his face and partially looking at Hami.

“Of course and who would?!!” Junho added.

“We’ll be discussing more about your upcoming photobook by next week." Jin Young turning to Hami, "Yah!! KID!! Be sure you’ll be there..That’s why I made arrangements about where you’ll be staying to avoid you from leaving all of a sudden. And I’m so tired of you 'stalking' me everywhere I go..aigoo!..” Jin Young said strictly.

“Wait..who’s stalking who again?” Hami’s sudden question made the boys looked at her, she was raising a brow to Jin Young. “I remember meeting one of your men when I was in Japan..then I happen to bumped into one of them again the moment I arrived here in Korea...now...Who’s stalking who again...” Suddenly all serious and eyes afixed to Jin Young.

Wooyoung frowned then thought “So...Hami ssi was stalking hyung?...for what?...for money?...but why?” he then glanced at Hami who was still glaring at Jin Young. He then continued the arguement inside his head, undertsanding a little English, “But why would Jin Young hyung have someone to follow Hami ssi?...”still obviously confused with what is happening.

“YAH!!..YAH!!..You close your mouth!!..” Jin Young shut Hami with an obvious tense seen on him.

Jin Young coughed and clears his throat “As I was saying...the moment you leave” pointing in all seriousness to Hami,  “...There’ll be no coming back..and the compromise is over..ARASO??!! (understand)”

Wooyoung, snapping out of his own thoughts, hearing Jin Young’s words, recalled something about Hami  “Uhm...hyung..wouldn’t she be able to understand that?..uhm..she doesn’t speak hangul (korean)..Right? ” Wooyoung saying it innocently.

Nichkhun hearing this, turned to look at Wooyoung, surprised that Wooyoung knows Hami doesn’t speak Korean. Khun then added “Isn’t she a tourist??” remembering the incident that happened at the cakeshop.

“Ah what???..She? a tourist??..huh!!..That girl infront of you..DEFINITELY understands korean!!..she’s just too lazy to speak in our dialect that’s why!!..sheeessh..YAH! KID!! What have you been doing at the streets?” Jin Young roaring to Hami. “How come they’re saying you don’t speak korean??..huh??!! Aisssh!!”

Hami just looked at Jin Young lazily then turned away from him her back facing them even carrying and turning the chair as well.

“Aigooo.....Just forget about her not knowing Hangul..talk to her in korean!..by all means, speak to her even in busan or daegu dialect!!” Jin Young looking sternly at the boys, directing the last sentence to Junsu and Wooyoung.

“Y...ye (yes)..Hyung...” the boys answered with uneasiness.

Both Nickhun and Wooyoung was shocked with their hyung’s revelation. “She speaks korean after all...” is what in their mind right now.

Jin Young clasped his hands and breathed deeply..”Okay..I’ve made arrangements on where Hami will be staying..and I decided for everyone’s benefit..I’ve decided to let her live at the dorm you boys are staying at..”

“WHAAAAT???” there was as if a heavy blow hit each beastly idols.

“Hyung??...are you serious...I mean..it’s okay..”Junho slightly looking at Hami’s back “..its okay for her to live there but..we...are guys...” whispering it to the men.

“Yah...Hyung...this isn’t right...I know we have no right to say no to your decisions..but...I think this one is an exception..” Nichkhun, the Thai prince, said in a manly manner.

“Hyung...i think she’s against this too right?” Wooyoung surprised by Jin Young's decision asked concernly.

Hami on the other hand, just took out her earphones from her bagpack and plugged it in her ears.

Everyone noticed her actions.

Jin Young sighed “I know this was a big blow to you boys...And yes your right Wooyoung, she is definitely against this...but there are reasons why I decided to place her there..with you boys..”

The boys collected enough courage to asked their hyung.

“hyung....is she....is she your daughter?..” Chansung maknae asked.

“Yah! Me having that kind of daughter??” Jin Young made a disbelief-comical reaction. (One you see on Dream High)

“Then is she your sister??.” Junsu added.

"Sister??!!..UGH!!..I would just be sending her off to my parents if ever she's my sister." Jin Young raising his hand and pointing far away.

The boys have one thing left on their mind...”Secret lover??” should they mention and ask their hyung about it?..They all looked at each other for a minute, while Jin Young waited for their next inquiry. They studied Jin Young’s features and a sudden orangutan face came to all their minds.

The boys shaked their head side to side...”Definitely not!”

“What?.. Is there something on my face?” Jin Young asked worriedly.

“I know you boys are curious,,and since she’ll be living with you, I guess,you have the right to know, at least a portion, of who Hami is..and what is our connection..” Jin Young sighed.

Jin Young decided it would be better for the boys to know who Shin Hami, but before he reveals anything. “Yah! Kid...yah! Hami!! YAH!!! SHIN HAMI!!” suddenly getting louder.

The boys again was surprised with Hami’s smug attitude towards their hyung.

“Well, you won’t be able to see that everyday..teeheehee” Taecyeon obviously enjoying and at the same time feeling tensed as well.

Junho feeling uncomfortable due to his hyung's loud voice, and  being near to Hami, tapped Hami’s shoulder.

“What?” Hami glared and bluntly replied.

“huh! Scary....” Junho thought..He pushed the thought aside and said “Uhm, Jin Young hyung is calling you.”

“What?” Hami removed her earphones and looked at Jin Young.

“Go to Nam Young ssi now, his waiting for you outside your room on 201. Prepare your things, they will be transferred to the dorm tonight." Jin Young instructed Hami.

“Who?” Hami asked.

“I said..go to Nam Young ssi.” Jin Young answered.

“Where?” Hami again asked, eyes showing no emotions.

“Just outside your room here in the hotel! His waiting for you.!!” Jin Young manifesting a slight annoyance.

“Why?” Hami asked for the nth time.

“YAH!! ARE YOU PLAYING A JOKE ON ME?..I SAID, GO TO NAM YOUNG WHO IS WAITING OUTSIDE YOUR ROOM,PREPARE AND TRANSFER YOUR THINGS INSIDE THE VAN NOW!!!!” Jin Young really irritated shot at Hami.

“Okay..Okay..I get it...no need to get grouchy..sheeeesh..” standing up from the couch and placing her bagback on her bag.

The boys just sat there dumbfounded.

“Yaaaaah. This girl is really something.” Chansung whispered to Wooyoung.

Wooyoung just nodded and smiling on one side, amused by Hami and their hyung’s conversation.

Nichkhun and Taecyeon was trying not to burst out laughing. Taec has his hands over his mouth but is giggling while Khun dropped his head on Taec’s shoulders covering his laughing state.

“YAH!! KID!! REMEMBER OUR DEAL IS OFF ONCE YOU RUNAWAY AGAIN!” Jin Young added furiously before Hami was able to open the door.

“I know..I know..” Hami just nodded idly...but then turned her head before going out the door. “Yah!..Do you always get angry?..last time I saw you, you only have two lines on your forehead..now there are four creases seen.” Hami lifting her head and using her lips to point at Jin Young’s forehead.

The boys stunned and amused, hearing her speak in Korean for the first time.

“YAH!!” Jin Young suddenly conscious.

“Aigoo....wrinkles....tsk,tsk..not getting younger these days,yes? Oldie Jin Young?...” then Hami abruptly close the door.

“SHIN HAMI!!!” Jin Young obviously no control of his anger anymore shouted.

“Omo!! Oldie Jin Young??..hahaha” Junho teasingly said.

Nichkhun burst out laughing unable to control, along with Taecyeon and the others. Wooyoung on the other hand, totally amused, chuckled. 

“Yah!!..” Jin Young just sighed. “That kid is really unbelievable....”

Park Jin Young straightened up “Okay as I was saying...” saying at a soberly manner.

The boys became all ears the moment they heard Jin Young’s serious tone.

“Shin Hami..We are not related in anyway..I was in the States when I saw her. I remember seeing her for the first time along the streets of New York,near her school. Her things scattered around her while she picks them up one by one..obviously bullied by her fellow mates.”

“Everytime I passed by the same street, I always got to see her there..Sometimes her clothes slighlty tattered and you could also see bruises on her. Everytime I saw her there, there was one thing that never changes..her eyes..you couldn’t describe the emotion in them..But you’ll know that there was no sign of anger or even a sign of revenge. I was really fascinated by her them.” Jin Young continued.

The boys had this pang of pity for a moment.

“One afternoon, I saw kids actually pushing her forcefully to the ground and grabbing her things. I approached them and scared them off.” Jin Young suddenly chuckled. “The weird part is..the girl I saved didn’t even thanked me, moreover..I was even expecting a cry from her.”

Jin Young rubbed his neck and sighed “Instead she said ‘Why do you have to in old man? Mind your own business.’ took all her things and went off..”

“Huh?” the boys were taken aback by Hami’s retort.

“Yeah...that’s how Hami really is...” Jin Young sighed..

Jin Young clasped his hands and placed them under his chin. “But what got me more interested in her was when I saw one of her notebooks that she accidentally left behind...Seeing it made me realise that I need to look for this girl..no matter what it takes..I need her to work for me...”
