**hiatus, a lot of things going on in my life, and I don't have much time to continue with this story. Sorry for the inconvenience. :(
After a life-changing incident leaving her mute, Janggeok Lily flees her hometown to move in with her older sister in the heart of Seoul, with the intentions of starting fresh and finding a new life for herself. But with her past nipping at her heels, and the present a complete blur, how will she be able to finally start over?
Well, she supposed getting a concussion could be a nice place to start.
Foreword
“Are you ready to go?” her sister asked while flying through the house, grabbing her keys, running back to her room to grab her purse, rushing to the door to shove on her shoes, then going back to her room because she left her all-important notebook on the dresser. As Rose displayed her tendency to be a little unorganized, Lily leaned against the wall beside the door, watching the chaos with a yawn. It was far too early for this.
‘She doesn’t seem ready, herself.’ Lily inwardly sighed.
Save for the chaos, it was a pleasant morning. It was a mild autumn this year, just a few weeks before Rose will start dragging her to the Shopping Center to shop for winter coats. She felt like a pet on a leash, lately, aimlessly following her sister day in and day out. It wasn’t that she wouldn’t do anything, but just that she couldn’t find out what to do with herself. Rose had suggested that she should start auditioning for dance, but she could only shake her head in response; that was for people who had the talent. She didn’t have any in that field.
“Okay, I have every thing. Let’s go.” Rose finally appeared before her, prepared for another day as the Fashion Department of SM Entertainment's Paid and (for the most part) Ignored Intern. Despite all of the fancy contracts, she was mostly the office’s errand-girl, often found delivering messages and ordering coffee. Add in Lily, and you had two young women running all over the place, occasionally getting lost, then getting scolded for being late.
Today, Rose simply walked into the office whilst Lily sat outside, waiting for the first lousy job of the day. But then she heard a commotion down the hall, the sound of sneakers squeaking on the tiled floors. People running?
Maybe it was stupid to investigate, but she found herself walking towards the sounds, tilting her head to the side to see who the hell could possibly be in such a rush.
Then, he rounded the corner.
