"Hongki Oppa saranghae!!!!" the fan girls screamed to FT island vocalist Lee Hongki

Hongki flashed them a killer smile that nearly made them faint

He held the mike next to his lips with his eyes closed taking a deep breath

Hongki  opened his mouth ready to sing when he froze, he gazed at a certain girl in the crowd with his mouth hang open *is that Min?! *

The crowd started gossiping and whispering, yet Hongki couldn't take his eyes of the girl in front of him

Jonghoon, the leader of the group squeezed his shoulder and asked "is there something wrong?? Why aren't you starting?"

"Huh??" Hongki snapped out of his thoughts " I'll start right now"

He swallowed hard staring at her and started singing

The song ended, after the impressive high note Hongki let go of the mike breathing loudly

Min smiled and held her two thumbs up *amazing as always*

Hongki slanged his bag over his shoulder lazily as he walked outside through the back door

A petite figure was leaning against the wall

He gazed at her as he made his way towards her, he touched her shoulder

Min let out a gasp and turned around, a smile slowly appeared on her face "Hongki oppa, you scared me!!!" she threw her arms around his neck and hugged him tightly

He didn't hugged her back, he just stood there, feeling his quick heart beats

Yes, Hong Ki was still in love with Min, in fact he never stopped loving her, he couldn't stop thinking about her even though she had to leave him

-Flash back-

"Oppa…" Min called as she rested her head on his lap while they were watching TV together on the couch

Hongki looked down with a smile, he pinched her cheek lightly "what is it??"

She sat up "I have something that I really need to tell you"

He blinked puzzled *she sound serious* "what is it, min??"

She swallowed hard "I… have to go to the states"

His eyes slowly widened *did I hear her right?! Did she just say that she is going to… leave me???* "w-what do you mean??"

"I got accepted in New York's best dance school, oppa" she said softly "I can't let this chance slip by… no matter what"

Hongki shot up, Min looked at him "we can stay in touch, I won't be staying there for so long" she got up and was about to hold his arm when he shouted "don't touch me!!!"

Min stared at him shocked, he never shouted at her like this before, tears started blurring her vision "oppa, why are you being like this??"

He leaned in holding Min's shoulders "you're the one who said you're going to leave me, Min… not me"

"I don't what am I supposed to do!!" she sighed with teary eyes

"Stay with me" he said firmly looking into her eyes, he lowered his head more and kissed her on the lips

Tears ran down Min's cheek, she pulled back and bit her lower lip "I… can't, you know that dancing is my dream and it's really important to me"

Hongki gazed at her with anger and sadness showing in his eyes "then go, I'm not stopping you, go and be the best dancer in South Korea" he said through gritted teeth "you and I…. are over" he muttered his last words before leaving her apartment

-End of flashback-

Min pulled back and stared into his eyes "I missed you a lot"

Hongki stared at her with his poker face "what are you doing?!"

Her eyes rounded and her expression showed that she was really hurt "w-what??"  

He glared at her "I said what are you doing?!! Are you deaf?!!"

Min was confused, she stepped back blinking her tears back "o-oppa… I thought…"

He cut her off "what?? Did you think that I would take you back?! Did you think that maybe I still have feelings for  you and that I can't stop thinking about you?!! That I really regret breaking up with you?!!" *you're right* "you're wrong!!" he snapped "don't appear in front of me again!!" he told her coldly and walked past her

Almost a month passed since then, Ft Island were going to have another performance

FT island walked out the stage "good evening Seoul" Hongki spoke in his mike making his fan girls scream "I hope you enjoy this song" he said as his band were getting ready to play

His eyes was focused on the crowd * why would she be here when I treated her like that, there's no way* just then someone screamed "wohoo Hongki oppa you're the best"

Hongki stared at Min shocked *what is she doing here?!!!* She grinned widely and raised her fists mouthing "fighting"

He quickly looked away from her and started the performance ignoring her as much as he could like she didn't even exist

Yet, Min's smile never left her face, she cheered for him as loud as she could not showing that she was broken from the inside

Hongki walked through the backdoor and slammed the door, anger was running through his veins *just as I expected* he marched towards Min "what are you doing here??"

Min turned around and just smiled "Hongki oppa, you were great today, it was an amazing performance"

"Don't ignore my question! Didn't I tell you that I don't want to see you again!!"

"But I wanted to see you" she spoke staring directly into his eyes "why?? Can't I even see you as a fan?? I don't think that there's anything wrong with that" she said making him speechless

"I'll go now oppa, see you next performance" she grinned walking away

A whole year passed since then, Min never missed a single FT island performance, and she was there every time cheering him on, until that day…

Hongki eyes roomed around the crowd but there was no sign of Min, disappoint filled him, he didn't feel like performing anymore because he was so worried *I wonder if something happened to her… she never misses a show, something must've happened to her*

After the performance, Hongki hurriedly left, he wanted to see her, he had to, it was his first time to be worried about someone like this

Hongki went to her old apartment *I hope she's still in the same place* he rang the bell once… twice… thrice but there wasn’t an answer "Min!! Are you inside?! Open the door" he banged on the door with his hand

"Stop it!!" the annoyed neighbor said "you're making a noise"

Hongki turned to her "do you know where she is?!" he asked urgently

"What?! Oh Minyoung" the ahjumma paused, then she started "I think she's at the funeral"

"What?? Did someone die??" he asked her

 "Her mother passed away... because of cancer" she said

"w-what?!!" Hongki blurted shocked "her mother was sick??"

The ahjumma nodded "poor Minyoung, she had no one else, she visited her mother everyday at the hospital and her mother had to leave her like this" she sighed shaking her head

Hongki ran down the stairs after thanking her, he waited for Min beside the building, looking left and right for any signs of her hoping that she was coming back

After waiting for almost an hour, he spotted her walking on the street, she had a sad expression on her face showing her sorrow and sadness as she started crossing the street

Hongki straightened up "Min!!!" he called her a couple of times, he was so happy to see her

*why do I keep hearing Hongki oppa calling my name??* She thought gazing at the ground as she walked

 "Lee Min young!!!!" he called again making her notice him

He waved at her as he walked towards her

"Hongki oppa" she was happy to see him too, she fastened her pace to reach him when suddenly she felt some light blinding her eyes

Min turned around and froze as a speeding white car was coming towards her

"MIN!!!!" Hongki shouted, he felt his whole body shaking as he watch the car crush into her body

He ran to her "Min!!! Wake up!!" he sobbed, her body was surrounded by a pool of her blood

He bent down and hugged her tightly to his chest as he cried loudly "no!!! Min!!! Please wake up" he cupped her face

She opened her eyes and a tear rolled down her cheek "H-H-Hongki… oppa" she whispered

"Shhh Min, don't speak, you'll be fine don't worry" he looked around the people around him and shouted while crying "what are you waiting for?!!! Call for help!!!!"

He looked down at Min while crying hard "I'm sorry Min… It's all my fault, I-I didn't know you were going through all of this, I'm sorry I lied saying that I already forgot about you, the truth is that I never stopped loving you"

"Really?" Min whispered softly, her eyes were about to close

Hongki nodded "yes it's true, so please Min, do your best, you can go through this"

"I… can't" Min's eyes were about to close

"No!!" Hongki shouted loudly "you can do it, Min, I know you well, you're a strong women, so don't you dare close your eyes arosou?!!"

Min did her best to raise her hand, she caressed his cheek tenderly leaving blood trails "I… never s-stopped loving you too… I'm sorry oppa, j-just imagine that I n-never came back and m-move on… for m-me, I love you" with her last words, Min hand fell on top of her lifeless body

"Min!!!!" Hongki shouted loudly as his tears fell on her face "wake up Min!!! You can't leave me!! I'm sorry for treating you like this when you came back to me!!! I'm really sorry and I regret it badly so please wake up"
