*flashback*

Lee Min Young who was a freshman at that time was walking back from school

She passed by the river and saw someone familiar standing on the bridge

She squinted her eyes to go a better look and saw that it was her brother

He looked down at the river, Min figured out what he was going to do next and harried to him "no Minhyuk oppa stop!! Don’t" she yelled with teary eyes

He turned to her and said in a calm voice "im sorry Min, I can't stand living anymore, take care of yourself and be happy" and that was his last words to her, he jumped off the bride right in front of his sister's eyes

 *end of flashback*

Min wiped her tears, she rode her bicycle and felt the fresh air hit her face and smiled *I have to be strong so I can be happy* she thought

T.O.P gazed at the river below him, after his mother's death he had no purpose in life anymore

T.O.P lifted both of his arms opening them fully and breathed in the clean air *were going to meet soon, umma* he thought and let go

But at the last second, someone grabbed his shirt and he fell on the ground unintentionally grabbing that person on top of him

T.O.P groaned in pain "aish my head hurts, who the hell did this?!!" he said and looked up, his eyes widened double their actual size when he saw a girl crying "don’t do it… Don’t kill yourself… Suicide is not that answer to your problems"

T.O.P blinked shocked at the girl, she was crying over him even though he's sure he never met her before, his heart felt strangely warm "a…are you ok??" he asked the girl

 She shook her head "of course I'm not!! An idiot almost ended his own life right in front of me!! I already experienced that and I really don’t want to see it again" 

T.O.P didn’t know what to do, "sorry" he blurted out

Min stopped crying and looked at him

"I'm sorry… so don’t cry anymore"

Min blinked *he's… apologizing to me?? I didn’t expect that at all*

He sat up and wiped her tears with his thump "don’t cry, girls are prettier when they smile"

Min stared at his him surprised, he stared at her back with his piercing gaze, her heart started thumping against her chest

T.O.P got up and he offered her a hand, Min slowly slipped her hand into his big, warm one and helped her up

He didn’t let go of her hand, he didn’t want to, and for some reason he want to keep holding her small, soft hand forever

Min quickly pulled her hand away "I…I have to go now"

"Wait" he quickly stopped her, Min looked at him "yes??"

He smiled, a smile that almost melted Min's heart "what's your name??" he asked

"Lee Min Young" she told him in a small, shy voice

He gazed at her softly "thank you Minyoung, you’re my life saver, if you haven’t stopped me I would be dead right now"

Min smiled at him "you don’t have to thank me", she turned to leave

T.O.P's eyes were focused on her as she was leaving a smile was on his *I want to see her again* "Min young" he called making her turn

"Meet me here tomorrow at the same time, oh and by the way my name is Seung Hyun" he grinned "Choi Seung Hyun" and turned the other way

*why is he so sure that I'm going to come, I haven’t even agreed to it* she thought and went to get her bicycle

Yet Min couldn’t stop thinking about it, she glanced towards the clock it was approaching 5, she looked at herself in the mirror *putting on a little makeup wouldn’t hurt* she thought

Min left towards the bridge, she saw T.O.P he was leaning against the bridge

Min approached him, T.O.P perked up just as he heard footsteps on the bridge, he walked to her with a huge smile on his face "you came??"

Min nodded "well... yeah I did" her eyes shifted to the ground

T.O.P grabbed her hand making her gasp at the sudden contact, he smiled warmly at her "I like you"

Min's eyes widened "I... I don’t know what to say"

He shook his head still smiling "you don’t have to answer me now, you can tell me your answer after our date"

Min furrowed her eyebrows confused "d…date?? What date??"

"The date we're going to have now" he smirked playfully and started walking not letting go of her hand

"Where are you taking me??" Min asked

He turned around smiling mysteriously "you'll see"

Min didn’t say anything more, she didn’t know where he was taking her and she didn’t care, as long as he was next to her she felt oddly safe

T.O.P and Min arrived to the train station, they took a train and left the city

Min sat on her seat next to him, she looked out gazing quietly at the view and after a while they arrived to the seaside

T.O.P held Min's hand as they walked to the shore, Min touched the water by her toe "its freezing!!" she laughed

She turned around to T.O.P to only get splashed with more water, she squeezed her eyes shut "yaah!!"

She heard him chuckling and couldn’t help but smile

"I'm going to get my revenge" she said smirking

"Oh really??" T.O.P raised an eyebrow "no, I'm so scared"

Min marched towards him and pushed him, he fell in the water and glared towards her "just wait until you're in my hands!!"

She screamed and started running away, but he quickly caught up with her with his long legs, he picked her up and twirled her around

Min gripped into his neck and tightened her legs around his waist "don’t you dare drop me!!" she screamed

"Apologize" he demanded in a playful tone

She narrowed her eyes and spoke in a very low voice "I'm sorry"

"I can't hear you" he told her

She sighed and spoke in a louder voice "I said I'm sorry"

He grinned satisfied and placed her on the sand

She glared towards him "happy now??"

"Yup" he smiled at her gazing with affection leaned in and kissed her on the cheek

Min blinked shocked, she looked up at him, and he leaned in once again and cupped her face staring right into her eyes

Min felt her heart beating quickly against her chest, her eyes slowly closed, T.O.P pressed his lips against hers

He placed his hands on her waist pulling her closer to him and kissed her with passion

He pulled back and reminded her "you still haven’t given me an answer"

"This is my answer" Min smiled, stood on her tiptoes and pushed her lips against his, she placed her arms around his neck as he started kissing her back

Min and T.O.P sat next to each other gazing at the ocean as the sun was settingg

He started “Remember when you told me that you already experienced an idiot ending up his life in front of you, and  that you really don’t want to see it agai, What did you mean by that?” he asked

She sighed still not looking away from the stunning view “two years ago, my big brother Lee Minhyuk jumped off at the same river, I tried to stop but I couldn’t”

TOP’s expression softened “I’m sorry”

Min turned to him with a sweet smile “you don’t have to apologize, it’s all in the past and I have to move on”

*she’s amazing* T.O.P thought gazing fondly at her “you're right” he kissed her temple and rested her head against his shoulder putting his arm around her tightly *because of you I learned something valuable, even though I faced a huge loss when my mom died I have to more foreword so we can both be happy*
