Tongue Tied
Skeletons in my ClosetI need a little more luck than a little bit
'Cause every time I get stuck the words won't fit
And every time that I try I get tongue tied
I need a little more luck to get me by
-Tongue Tied, Faber Drive
Sometimes Dongwoo feels he can say it then, and he swears he can even see the words form right before his eyes, little words that come together to form a more or less coherent sentence that merges with a few more to form a complete paragraph that’s enough to let Jinyoung know exactly how he feels. He’s actually a little braver on these times, all ready and set to confess, but then Jinyoung has to go and do something—like turn and send a smile his way for example—and all the neatly formed sentences all come down crashing on Dongwoo’s head and he veers off and rushes to the nearest wall to bash his head over and over again, cursing himself for being such an idiot.
It’s been getting harder and harder to hide all this newfound affection for Jinyoung, especially from Chansik, who, under much too many circumstances have accused him of staring quite creepily at the still clueless leader. Dongwoo even has to bribe the kid to shut his mouth, and though a cart of cucumber kimchi a week doesn’t deal much damage to his wallet, he still feels that a confession has to be made, and soon, before Chansik’s palate tires of kimchi and demands for more.
