On the day she left

"What?!"
Surely he heard wrong, Mir couldn't believe what he heard.

"I said, I'm leaving you!"
Choked sobs broke out as she slammed her suitcase shut. Pausing, Mimi shut her eyes as her breathing became labored.
"Cheol Yong....I'm sorry"

She stood up straight, refusing to met his eyes, silent tears streaming down her face. Mir was frozen but as she took her first step towards the door he jumped into action.

"Mijung! What are you talking about?! Please! I love you, tell me what's wrong we can work this out!"

She dropped her suitcase, hands trembling, shaking her head as her sobs increased. Immediately Mir moved, pulling her into a tight hug. She started to wail and Mir's heart broke. He rubbed soothing circles on her back and in return he felt her petite hands fist his shirt, holding on desperately. 
He stood there whispering soothing words until her sobs turned into sniffles. He pulled back slightly to look into her eyes. He smiled at her gently,
"Better?"

She leaned into his hand which had come up to cup her cheek and smiled slightly. As he bent down she tilted her head welcoming the passionate kiss he placed on her lips, reassuring her of his love. Suddenly, he was shoved roughly back as Mimi whimpered covering . Tears filled her eyes again and panic was evident in her eyes.

"No, no, no, no,no!"
She moaned shaking her head as she collapsed onto the floor. 

"Mimi!"
Mir shouted clearly alarmed, he moved towards her but froze as she shreiked. He remained frozen as she backed away from him and managed to stand up again. As she grabbed her suitcase and sprinted to the door ice filled his veins as he found that he was still simply frozen from the shock of it all. She hesitated, half inside and half out only to say,

"...Please forgive me"

And then she was gone.

You pretended not to know and told me to forget it all

"It's not your fault, sounds like she's crazy to me"
Joon stated lounging in his seat, feet up on his desk.

"No! You don't understand! Something's not right! The Mimi I know would never do something like this!!"
Mir insisted, pacing back and forth in front of the desk, a frown fixed on his face.

Joon sighed, then sat up straight.
"Mir, look at me."

Mir obeyed turing his sad eyes onto his best friends face.

"I wish I could have prevented this, Mir, saved you from all this pain. Instead, I'll help you pick up the pieces. Look, she didn't deserve you if this is how she treats you. Just forget about her, she wasn't the one for you."

I trusted you

"You really believe that Joon?"

You were my friend

"With all my heart"

How could you do this to me

Mir was pulled out of his flashbacks by his right hand man. Despite remembering everything that happened as clearly as if it had just happened this all seemed like a dream to Mir. Or rather a horrible nightmare. Never in a million years did Mir expect this to happen. Now that it had Mir was determined to win Mimi back and see that Joon was punished.
