We were in love

Heavy breaths filled the air. Mir Felt the bed move as his lover, Mijung or Mimi, turned to face him. He was left breathless at her flushed cheeks, shining eyes and plump lips. She smiled at him, intertwining fingers as a small giggle left her lips.
"Mir-oppa...I love you"
Mir blinked before smiling wider than ever before, gathering her into his arms he showered kisses upon her face before pressing his forehead to hers.
"I love you more than anything."
He whispered before capturing her lips again.

And I only had her

He had the proposal all planned out. Under the guise that his boss, who was also his best friend Lee Joon, wanted to meet her; he would take her to the best restaurant in the town. His boss would be there, so no suspicions would be had, at some point in the dinner Joon would excuse himself and Mir would utter the four words that would change your relationship for good

"Will you marry me?"

But why

Mimi's laugh echoed in Mir's head as he took in the image of his best friend kissing her hand, holding on much longer than was necessary.

Why did you touch my girl

Mir scowled at Joon as the man snuck another glance at Mimi.
His Mimi.
He couldn't wrap his head around it. Why was his best friend acting like this towards the woman that he was in love with.
In his confusion, and slight anger, he forgot all about the velvet box sitting in his pocket.

Every suave smile Joon sent her way stung Mir more than he would like to admit. And when a light blush appeared on your face, due to something Joon said, Mir's fists clenched, full of jealousy.
