Please Don't Cry

You looked at your phone, sadness clouding your eyes. Seung-hyun hasn’t called you in two week and every time you called him, he never answers you. The only time that you got one of your calls answered was when his mother answered it to tell you that he wasn’t home. You really want to talk to him, and the longer you haven’t talked to him, the harder it is ignore to the rumors. The longer you two are apart, the more your hope starts to fade away. You really want to have faith in Seung-hyun, to believe him and his promise that you’re the only one for him. You really want to believe, but it’s becoming so difficult to keep believing in himwhen he hasn’t even shown himself to you.

Dara looked at you, and she couldn’t help but feel pity. They warned you about falling way too hard for Seung-hyun. They warned you that he does not take relationships seriously. They told you that he always moves on to another girl if he gets tired of his current one, but she was far too in love with him. She was in too deep that any warnings from her friends were brushed aside.

*All those rumors about Seung-hyun are true*. Dara saw him at the movies with another girl. As soon as she saw that, she knew that Seung-hyun has gotten tired of you. She knew that Seung-hyun was moving on to another girl and she couldn’t help but feel sadness for her friend. All she could wish for now is that you finally accept the fact that your relationship with him is done and that the promises he once made to you will not be kept.

Chae-rin could not take looking at your dejected face anymore, so she forced everyone to come to the club with her. She wanted to at least see you have fun and to know that you still have friends who loves you, even if that jerk is left you behind.  But she can see that taking you out was not helping. All you had been doing was looking at your phone, waiting for a phone call that will not come. Chae-rin looked at Bom and Dara and she stood up with a determined look on her face.

“Guys lets go and dance!” She said, walking over to you. Minzy and Dara agreed and stood up as well. They looked at you, waiting for you to put her phone down and dance with them.

“You guys can go. I’ll stay here for a bit.” Was all you said, still holding on to your phone. Chae-rin frowned at that, tired of you continuingly flipping off any plans they had to cheer you up.

“Alright I’ve had enough ------! I called out this girl night because I wanted us have fun, not for you to sit down and watch your phone all day!” Screamed Chae-rin, really starting to get frustrated. She plucked the phone from you and stuffed it in her pockets, from away from your reach.

“You are getting this phone back after the once the night is over and I can see you finally enjoying yourself!” Chae-rin pulled a stunned ------ out of your seat and pulled you towards the dance floor. She pulled a random guy from the crowd at pushed him towards you. “Dance with her!” she commanded to the confused guy, and seeing the angry look on Chae-rin’s face, he complied and pulled you in his arms.

Chae-rin stood over to the side, watching both of you, making sure you both followed what she said. Minzy and Dara looked at each other, and then looked at their fuming friend. She can be really scary when she got angry.  Bom walked closer to Chae-rin and nudged her.

“I really don’t think this is helping ----- one bit. Forcing a guy on her is not really something that ------ will think of as fun.” Bom said to Chae-rin. Chae-rin closed her eyes and when she opened them, Bom saw that the anger was replaced by sadness. “I know that Bom. But I’ve tried everything else to get ---- to smile again. I hate seeing her like this. But I hate that bastard so much more. I wanted to give him a chance with her because he made her smile. I haven’t seen her that happy before, since Jinwoo, that cheating jerk, picked Hyuna over her. I wanted to believe in him too, but I wished I didn’t. Because then I could have tried harder to keep ----- away from him.”

Bom looked at Chae-rin and couldn’t help but admire her. She really cares so much for you, just like a sister would. Chae-rin and you have been friends way before Bom met both of you, so she knows how close you truly are. The amount of sadness she feels for ----- probably can’t be compared to Chae-rin’s.

They both turned around when they heard their names being called, and saw Dara running towards them with a worried look on her face.

“Guys! We should leave now! I just saw Seung-hyun walk in with another girl!” All three of them looked at the duo swaying awkwardly on the dance floor. They went to them, and pulled You from the guy, and hurriedly pulling her towards the exit.

“What’s wrong? Why are you suddenly pulling me out when you guys were the ones who dragged me here?” You asked, really confused with her friends’ behaviors, but grateful nonetheless to be out of that awkward situation with the guy.

“Ah nothing ------… Nothing really. We just realized how late it was and how we all should be heading out now.” Dara said nervously. All of them were looking around the club, hoping not to spot a certain someone and importantly, hoping for you not to see him.

You really didn’t believe them, but you didn’t question it because you were more than happy to leave this club. You really didn’t find dancing with a strange guy as fun. Nor is being forced to dance. You turned to your friends as they all gather to the right side of you. They were not letting you look through them, and it almost seemed as if they were blocking something from you. You really think that they are starting to get really suspicious, so you run past them to see what they were trying to hide from you.

Chae-rin, Dara, Bom and Minzy tried really hard so that You would not notice him, to not spot him. And they only wished they could have tried harder when they saw the look on your’s face. It was like they were watching your heart slowly breaking apart as you witnessed the scene in front of you. It was Seung-hyun, smiling at a girl and giving her a drink. He put his arms around her and they started to walk to a more secluded part of the club.

You were trying really hard. Trying extremely hard not to break down in front of your friends. You didn’t want to worry them any more than they already were. Although it hurt so much, although the little hope you had was slowly being crushed, although your broken heart is breaking into tiny pieces, you put a smile on her face. You pushed back the tears that were threatening to fall down your face and didn’t let the smile crumble. You turned back to your friends and walked to them, never once letting that smile slip.

“Let’s go guys!” You exclaimed with forced cheerfulness. Your friends could see right through you, but they decided not to say anything and just walked out of the club with you. As you all got out of the club, you stopped in the middle of the sidewalk and faced your friends.

“Chae-rin can I have my phone back? I think I’ll just go by self from here.” Your voice cracked at the end, and you quickly wiped a tear that escaped your tight control.

Chae-rin quickly handed your phone back to you and watched as you walked away by yourself. She knows that the best they can do right now is to give you some space. Whenever you want to cry, you always needed to be alone, because you didn’t want anyone seeing your tears. You didn’t want people to see how hurt you were by having your fears confirmed and Chae-rin can accept that. She stopped Bom, Dara and Minzy when they were about to follow you.

“She needs to be alone when she needs a good cry.” She whispered to them as she turned away to the other direction. She didn’t want to continue to watch her friend’s misery, knowing that she would not be able to stop them. So Chae-rin started to walk the opposite way giving you the space and time that you needed. The rest followed her reluctantly, watching you sadly as you stumbled your way out.

-------------------

You stumbled along the sidewalk, tears blurring your vision. They made a path down your face and you made a motion of wiping them away. You let yourself walk and walk, not really knowing nor caring where you were going. You looked up at the house that was in front of you and noticed where you unconsciously ended up on.

It was Taeyang’s apartment. The only person who has seen you cry this much, the only person you let see you cry like this. You walked up to his floor, tears still flowing freely down your face and you let them. You were in front of his door, but you hesitated to knock. You really didn’t want to bother him right now and you know how angry Taeyang always looks when you appear in front of him looking like this.

You decided against knocking on his door and just sat down on the wall next to his door. You stared at a crack on the wall and nothing came to your mind but the happy times Seung-hyun and you had together.

--------

Taeyang looked in his freezer, planning to have some of his favorite dessert: Ice cream. He opened his favorite flavor, chocolate, and found it empty.

“Damn you Daesung!” He couldn’t help but curse. He knew inviting them yesterday was a big mistake. Now he didn’t have any ice cream to indulge in. Taeyang angrily tossed the empty box in the trash can and he picked up his keys. He needs his ice cream and he did not care if he had to go to the store in the middle of the night to get it. He put a sweater on and opened his door.

The first thing he saw was a body lying on the floor and it scared the hell out of him. Then he saw the slow rise of the person’s chest and was relieved to find that the person was alive and seemed to just be sleeping.  He walked closer to it and found that it was ------.

A worried look completely took over his face and he quickly bent down next to you. He tried to poke you a bit, to see if you would wake up, but you didn’t. His eyebrows creased together when his eyes saw the tears stains on your face. Anger was in his eyes and he wanted to hit the person who made you cry.

He slowly picked you up from the floor and carried you back inside his apartment. He walked to his bed with you securely in his arms. Taeyang gently laid you down in the middle of his bed and took off your shoes for you. He would let you rest for the night and when the morning came, he would have his answers questioned.

“Who’s the er that’s going to get his assed kicked?” Taeyang angrily whispered to himself as he cleaned the tear trails that stained your face.

Aww, I hope Tabi can tell her and finally win her over again. Then there's the matter of Taeyang. Ugh, love triangles or so terrible. I wish he could find someone else to call his own.

This really sad! I love Taeyang for wanting to stand up to her! I'm wondering what happened with Seunghyun. Why is he being so cruel? I hope she can find love in Taeyang.
Good writing skills!
