Story Preview

A bright ray of light has awakened me from my deep sleep. I can faintly hear my glass windows being opened and my curtains tied up.  A cool breeze enters my room with the pungent smell of grass’s morning dew. I cringe my eyebrows up and slowly open my eyes. I can barely see someone’s silhouette, wiping the window panes. I blinked for a few more times, making my sight visibly clearer than before.

“Oh!” he said with a big, creepy smile on his face. “You’re awake now.” his left eye twitches up as he chuckles.

I rubbed my eyes and sat up, not even glancing at his direction. “Chanyeol, what are you even doing in my room? It’s so early.” I whined as I pulled myself down back in bed and covered myself with my soft, blue blanket.

“Well.” he put the rag he’s holding down the side table. “I needed to wake you up without you noticing me wanting to wake you up so you’ll appear like you have waken up because you naturally wanted to wake up.” he mumbled without a stop while playing with his fingers, looking down.

I didn’t respond or make a single move of a limb.

“And--” he was stopped by a shout from downstairs.

“Chanyeol! Get your down here, we’re gonna be late for Japan, you twerp!”

It was Baekhyun. I sat up abruptly again and looked at Chanyeol. “What Japan?”

“Some sort of photo shoot.” he scratches his head.

I quickly stood up from bed and ran towards my wardrobe. “! Why didn’t I know, I should have prepa--”

“You aren’t coming, Kai.” he stated while walking towards the door.

“Of course I am comi—WHAT?” I looked at him, my body, motionless. “What do you mean not coming?” I asked, my mouth hung open with shock.

“Only I, Beakhyun, Suho and Sehun will. I was pretty surprised too that you’re not included in the list.” he leaves me shocked, lightly closing the door and runs fast, making loud, stomping sounds down the stairs.

I put the clothes in hand back into my wardrobe as I curse to myself. It’s not that I am irritated by the fact I’m not going to Japan with them. I was ing sleeping, AND I was ing dreaming. What’s the purpose of waking me up?! Geez. I jumped to my bed and dozed to sleep again.
