I know Monster is a song by big bang but it inspired an Ontae fic so xD

But this one was a lot harder because of the teeth, it took forever to get them right and they still look really crappy. OH WELL xD

The couple was sitting on the couch, Taemin snuggled in Onew's chest. Onew was grinning running his hand through Taemin's hair. The moment was simple, yet perfect. Absolutely perfect. But then Onew's head snapped up his eyes briefly flashing red...Oh no. Onew's sudden movement startled Taemin.
"...Onew?"
"Stay here, Taemin. Do not move. No matter what." Onew said dead serious, sliding out from under Taemin.
"What's going on?" Taemin ask confusedly.
"Just don't move unless I tell you to, Okay? This is really important." Onew said locking eyes with Taemin. The look in Onew's eyes made Taemin agree without a word. Onew disappeared from the room quickly, running to the room he shared with Taemin. There he found what he was looking for, He hissed his eyes glowing bright red. Bat like wings shot from his back, his long fingers turned into sleek black claws. His teeth became pointed and jagged. Down the whole left side of his face, extending down his left arm a pattern of jagged cracks formed. His eyes landed on the smirking demon on his bed. He grabbed the demon by the neck yanking him off the bed and slamming him into the wall.
"What are you doing here?!" Onew hissed.
"What? I can't come check up on my younger brother and his little pet?" The other demon smirked, not even fighting against Onew.
"He's not my pet!" Onew's grip tightened on his brother's throat.
"Then you, a demon, is in love with something as vile as a human?" His brother sneered.
"It's none of your business!"
"No it isn't brother, But you know how dangerous it is for a demon to be with a human." His brother warned.
"I can protect him!" Onew insisted.
"Your presence has weakened, Jinki. How many demons have you had to fight off? A lot from what I can tell. Your little human is rare, I can smell him from here. If I weren't your brother I would've tried to take him from you... His soul smells delicious." His brother's lips slowly pulled back revealing his equally jagged teeth.
"I'll get stronger, now please, Leave!"
"Does he know, Jinki? Does he know you're a retched monster?" His brother questioned. Onew kept his gaze on the floor... He hadn't told Taemin. He probably should have, they have been together for 3 years now...But Onew, as demeaning as this was to admit, was afraid. Fear was not an emotion a powerful demon like him should feel but Taemin made him feel a world of a emotions a demon never should.
"Ah...So he doesn't. Does he Jinki? Or should I say Onew. Such an interesting name you picked out for your human persona, Brother." His brother smirked then disappeared in a flash. Onew's jaw dropped... He wasn't...Oh no. Onew changed back to his human form racing to the living room to find something straight from his worst nightmares. His brother held Taemin against him, Taemin's back pressed against his front. His brother was grinning; red eyes glowing as he ran his claws lightly across Taemin's cheek. Taemin looked terrified, his eyes darting to Onew pleading for help.
"Let go of him!" Onew demanded.
"Make me, Brother."
"..."
"Are you afraid? Afraid of how you're little human will react?" His brother asked amused.
"Well, why don't you reveal what you really are, Brother. Show your human how disgusting you really are, how evil and putrid you really are. Just like me." His brother continued.
"and what if I don't?" Onew challenged.
"I'll kill him." His brother said simply. Onew sighed, he knew his brother was serious. Onew could feel his tainted heart clench... Taemin would surely hate him now. But maybe it was better that way... His brother had made a point. It was a lot more dangerous for Taemin with Onew around.
"Taemin, I love you. Remember that okay? and... I'm sorry." Onew whispered taking on his demon form once again. Taemin gasped. No. This wasn't happening there's no way someone as sweet and nice as Onew could be a demon... But there he was right in front of Taemin's eyes...A filthy monster.
"Let him go!" Onew growled.
"Make me, Jinki." He brother taunted. This set Onew off, He lunged towards his brother. His brother released Taemin, flying backwards to avoid Onew but he was a bit too late. Onew sunk his claws into his brother's shoulders.
"GET OUT!" Onew growled his voice sounding unhuman and animalistic.
"Okay, Okay. My work here is done anyway Brother, see you later." his brother disappeared in a puff of black smoke. Slowly Onew stood and turned towards his boyfriend.
"Taemin..." he began.
"G-get away from me!" Taemin screamed stumbling towards the door.
"Taemin wait! I'm still the same Onew you knew, Just because I'm a demon doesn't mean I'm pure evil. Not all of us are like that. Please understand Taemin, I'm not a monster!" Onew cried out.
"No! You are a filthy, lying, monster! You just wanted my soul! You don't love me, demons can't love! You tricked me! I HATE YOU!" Taemin yelled tears running down his face. Taemin ran out the door. Onew just watched...He could go after him but it wouldn't do any good. He tried to tell himself to give it some time maybe in a couple of days or so Taemin would come back... But he knew Taemin wasn't coming back. Onew screamed throwing the coffee table into the wall, it broke on impact; splintering in half breaking into jagged pieces. Onew ran out the front door, he knew if he didn't leave now he'd destroy everything. He took off into the sky his wings carrying him far away.
Bloody tears ran down his face, he couldn't believe this. He was one of the most powerful demons in hell yet here he was reduced to tears because of a human! How pathetic... But he couldn't help it... He loved Taemin so much and now he'd said that he hated Onew. Onew landed in some forest he found after flying for several miles. He angrily uprooted trees throwing them into the air and kicking them as hard as he could, making the trees explode into a cloud of splinters and leaves. It was all he could do to let out his emotions.
Taemin was sobbing. He couldn't believe it... Onew, or Jinki or whatever that crazy guy,who apparently was Onew-Jinki's brother, called him. Taemin didn't know what to do, he was terrified he was running and running. He stopped when he realized where he had ended up... Outside Key's apartment. He felt bad for bothering Key but he had no where else to go and in his rush he left everything back at home. He knocked on the door hoping Key was home. Key opened the door wondering who was at his door at such a time. It was almost midnight.
"Taemin? Oh Taemin baby, come inside!" Key ushered Taemin in pulling the crying boy into a hug.
"Onew...No Jinki.He, brother! red! wings!" Taemin exclaimed trying to put what just happened into words but since he was hysterical, it wasn't easy.
"Taemin, calm down. You can tell me what happened later." Key said soothingly guiding Taemin to his couch. Taemin just nodded, sobbing into Key's shoulder. After what seemed like forever Taemin's tears ended and he pulled back from Key. Taemin took a deep breath and Key looked at him expectantly.
"You're going to think I'm crazy. But this is actually what happened!", Taemin began, "Well Onew and I were on the couch cuddling when suddenly Onew just got up and ran into our bedroom. He was acting really weird and told me to not to move so I didn't. I heard some thumping and what sounded like yelling. Then suddenly there was a man grabbing me, he wasn't a normal man though...He was a demon. He had wings, claws, red eyes, pointy teeth and everything! He grabbed me and I was terrified. Then Onew came in, he looked normal at first. But then that guy, who claimed to be Onew's brother, started talking to Onew. Then he called Onew Jinki. and then He started talking about how Onew was a monster like him and he told Onew he'd kill me if he didn't reveal himself or whatever...and then Onew changed into a demon too! He looked different from the other guy though...The whole left side of his face was cracked! Then the guy left, and Onew tried to talk to me but I felt betrayed and lied to. Plus I was terrified, so I called him a filthy monster and told him I hated him...Then I left. I heard a loud crash as I was running and when I looked back I saw Onew, Flying! and I just got more freaked out...and then I ended up here." Taemin explained quickly, he himself just wrapping himself around what just happened.
Key just stared at him blankly... Not sure if he believed what Taemin was saying. He knew Taemin wouldn't lie to him but... Onew. A demon? That was just hard to believe...The boy was so sweet.
"Well... You don't really hate him do you, Tae?" Key asked slowly.
"I... I don't think so." Taemin shook his head.
"When you love someone Taemin, you love them no matter what... Even if they are a demon... or whatever. I've seen the way he looks at you Taemin, no one can fake love like that, not even a demon. I think you should give him another chance. You've been with him for 3 years, you can't imagine yourself without him can you?" Taemin's eyes widened... Life without Onew? That wasn't an option. Taemin shook his head quickly.
"Then why don't you go back home tomorrow and let him explain?" Key reasoned.
"...That could work." Taemin agreed.
"Well! I'm not really sure what just happened, but it's too late to go back home so why you just stay here and let everything cool down!" Key exclaimed going off to go get blankets and a pillow for Taemin. Taemin sighed... He was exhausted. He was so grateful to have a friend like Key.
Taemin, with encouragement from Key made his way back home. Then he realized he didn't have a key so he sat outside their door. Thinking... Onew was a demon right? Maybe he'd like... sense it or something if he called his name.
"Onew...Pleae come back. I want to talk." Taemin whispered. Onew suddenly appeared in front of Taemin. Taemin looked up at Onew, who was now in his human form. Onew looked at him solemnly and offered Taemin his hand to help him up. Taemin stared at his hand for a minute the slowly held out his own hand grasping Onew's to help pull himself up. Once Taemin was standing, One Taemin turned towards Onew.w released his hand and went to unlock the door. Taemin slowly walked inside and Onew followed. Once Taemin reached the living room his eyes widened, the coffe table was in pieces on the floor. So that was the crash he had heard yesterday. Going around the broken table Taemin sat on the couch and Onew stood near by.
"Okay, I'm not sure exactly what's going on but I have a few questions and you are going to answer them okay?" Taemin said and Onew nodded.
"...Was that guy your brother?" Taemin decided to start with the easy questions and work his way up.
"Yes." Onew nodded.
"Why did he call you Jinki?"
"That's my real name, back at home...In you know...Hell. As a demon I go by Jinki. Every time I return earth after long periods of staying in Hell I pick a different name to go by, Onew is the name I choose this time."
"...Can I call you Jinki?" Onew nodded.
"How old are you?"
"... I am not exactly sure. I've been around since the behing of time, I am one of the original demons, a direct descendent of Lucifer. So I am billions of years old." Jinki explained. Taemins eyes widened... He wasn't expecting him to be that old.
"So you really are a...demon?"
"Yes I am."
"Why didn't you tell me before?"
"...I was afraid." Taemin stood up and walked over to Jinki. He stood fairly close to Jinki and looked him directly in the eyes.
"I want to see your...demon form or whatever again. Can I?" Taemin said slightly afraid but wanting to accept his boyfriend for who he was. Jinki took a deep breath and transformed into his demon form. Taemin took it all in with amazement, but slight horror. He studied Jinki in his true form and realized as terrifying as this was he was actually in a strange way... Beautiful in this form. His skin had gotten a lot paler, a beautiful snow white. He had glowing red eyes. His claws where an elegant shining black. The whole left side of his face cracked in a strangely attractive way only Jinki could accomplish. His wings, were strangely appealing sort of adding the final touch with their horned bat like look.
Taemin slowly brought his hand up to Jinki's cracked face running his thumb over his cheek. Taemin was surprised, though it looked rough and cracked his skin was completely smooth.
"Jinki... I'm sorry for how badly I reacted. I don't hate you... I just... This is going to take me some time to get used to. But I know one thing sure no matter who you are: Onew, or Jinki...or what you are: human, or demon. I'll love you." Taemin wrapped his arms around Jinki's neck holding on tightly.
"It's okay Taemin... Thank you. Thank you so much for not giving up. You don't know how much that means to me, I have been around for a long time and I've had my fair share of my relationships with demons and humans but I have never felt so strongly as I have for you, Taemin. I love you so much." Onew whispered holding Taemin in his arms. Taemin pulled back, his soft brown eyes meeting glowing red ones. Jinki was smiling so warmly at Taemin, he thought it might have been kind of scary, Since Jinki had such pointy teeth. But the way Jinki smiled Taemin couldn't help but find it incredibly handsome. Taemin leaned in and their lips met. Human, and demon. Two completely different beings, one lives forever, one will eventually die. But for now, their overwhelming love for each other surpassed all their worries. For now, it didn't matter. All that mattered now was that they loved each other and somehow everything would be okay.
That was fun to write! My favorite part was when Onew uprooted the forest, that was fun to picture xD
