Suzy’s POV

a week before

It’s already 6:00pm, Taecyeon already left because he has many things to do.

I was waiting for Myungsoo to wake up so I told the nurse that I’ll lock up the doors and gates.

I sighed and looked at him.

A few minutes later he already woke up

“ gwenchana? “ I ask him

He nodded and tried to sit up, I assisted him

“ why did you wait for me? “ he ask

“ I just want to ask something. “ I said

“ what? “ he asks

“ why did you fight him? “ I ask

“ he started it! “ he said

 “ still, what if Taecyeon and I didn’t come? What will be your state now? Huh?! You’re so stupid! “ I said and hit his arm hard

“ ow. You’re such a brutal girl. “ he said and caressed his arm

“ mian, “ I said and bowed down my head

“ no need to worry. “ he said and patted my head

I just sighed

“ can you walk? “ I ask

He nodded and stood up, I assisted him and went out of the school building, I lock the doors and the gate, I carried his bag and we both walk home.

“ I can walk, no need to assist me. “ he said and gets his bag

“ if you say so, “ I said

“ don’t worry too much, ok? I’m fine. Really. “ he said

“ don’t get involved in a fight again. “ I said and sighed

“ I promise, I will not fight until Suzy Bae said to fight back. “ he said and made a pinky promise

I smiled at his actions

“ what? Too childish? “ he ask

“ no no, it’s fine. “ I said and smiled

a week later ( Sunday )

Myungsoo’s ok now, he’s with Yiyoung today so we can’t watch a movie so I decided to stay home. It’s already 7:00pm

I was watching TV when some man came inside.

“ excuse me, Mrs. Bae can we talk to you in a minute? “ the man said, mom stood up and go to the kitchen

I was curious so I peeked in and heard their conversation

“ please give me one more week, I promise to pay you. “ mom pleaded

“ I’m sorry Mrs. Bae but one month is too long now, you need to pay the debts you made or tell your daughter about the arranged marriage, that s the only way. “ the man said seriously

“ please, she will be so sad if she founds out, please give me one more week. “ she said crying, I covered my mouth cause I was shock with what I’m hearing

“ I’m very sorry, I’ll get back to you tomorrow, with my boss. Make sure that your daughter knows. “ the man said and bowed and leave

Mom was sitting on the floor crying her heart out, I ran to her and hugged her

“ why didn’t you told me? “ I ask

“ I don’t want you to worry honey, omma’s ok, go back to bed honey. “ she said and wipe her tears

“ no, mom let me help. I’ll do anything. “ I said and was tearing up

“ there’s nothing you can do now, excuse me honey, I’ll just talk to your father. “ she said and walk off to her room, I saw a paper lying on the floor

This must be mom’s, it must’ve fell on her apron.

 I unfold it and saw a letter.

“ if you want to pay your debts there is one more choice, arranged marriage. Your daughter and my son.  That is the only way to pay your debts, if your daughter marries my son, they’ll be the next managers of my company.

I was shock, why didn’t she told me?

I walk to my room and lock the door.

“ eotteoke? “ I whispered I sat on the floor; I was hugging my knees and crying.

“ the cold hearted princess knows how to cry too. Cool. “ I heard a boy said, I lift my head and I saw Byunghun staring at me. My eyes widen and I want to scream but he covered my mouth and calmed me down

“ how’d you get here? “ I ask

“ your window is open, so I just climb in, I wanted to scare you but I saw crying. “ he said and smirk

“ I don’t have time to argue with you Byunghun, just leave me alone. “ I said and continued crying

He sighed and sits beside me.

He was looking at me and saw the paper I’m holding, he gets it and reads it.

“ what are you going to do? “ he ask

“ I don’t know, what do you think I should do? Should I deny the marriage and let my family get bankrupt? Or should I just marry this stranger so I could help my family. “ I ask, still crying, he was just looking at me

He then hugged me really tight; I just let him hug me

“ I don’t know what to do “ I said

“ why don’t you just tell your friends? “ he suggested

“ I don’t want them to worry, I don’t want them to get involved. “ I said

“ you can’t do this alone, you need some help. “ he said

“ then what will I do? “ I ask, sobbing.

He sighed and carried me; I have no strength left so I just let him do what he wants.

He laid me down on my bed and caressed my face.

He told me his plan and I was shock at first but that’s my only choice so I just agreed to him.

“ see you tomorrow. “ I said

“ get some rest. “ he said and kissed my forehead then jump off the window, I didn’t mind since I was weak, I’ll punch him tomorrow, right now, I just wish all of this will end. I close my eyes and went in to a deep sleep.

The next morning, my eyes we’re soar and my cheeks we’re red.

I sighed and get ready for school.

I went down on the living room and saw 2 men; one teenager and I think that’s her father. Is he Mr. Kim? And that’s his son?

“ omma. “ I called and kissed her cheek

“ just sign this contract and everything will be settled. “ the man said

I sighed, Byunghun where are you!

Then someone came inside

“ Suzy-ah! “ it was Byunghun, I smiled in relief

“ oh? Byunghun-ah! You’re early. “ I acted

“ because I miss you. “ he said and hugged me tight

“ I miss you too. “ I said and hugged me

“ nice acting princess. “ he whispered, I let go of the hug.

“ oh? Who are they? “ he ask and look at the 2 men

“ I am Mr. Ill Young Kim, and this is my son Soo Hyun Kim. Who are you? And what is your relationship with Ms Suzy Bae? “ he asks

“ oh? I’m his boyfriend. What brings you here? And why are you disturbing her and auntie? “ he asks,

“ they have to pay the debts they made. “ he said

“ how much is it? “ he asks, this isn’t the plan!

“ 500,000 “ he said

“ is that it? Tch. Here. Now don’t come back, and I don’t wanna here about this arrange marriage thing. “ he said and gave a white envelope full of cash.

“ they still sign the contract, so that means me and Suzy are now fiancés. “ Soohyun said and smirk

“ you mean this? “ he gets the contract and tore it apart.

“ get out, the debts are paid, you have no more work here. “ he said and threw the paper away

The 2 was frightened so they just scurried off.

“ that was not the plan, why did you do that? “ I whispered

“ well, our plan last night won’t work. And my plan today work “ he whispered

“ I’m so sorry you need to got involved in this sonny, I’ll pay the money you gave. “ mom said

“ no need, I’m very gladly to help you, and I’m contented with Suzy being my girlfriend. “ he said and put his arm around my waist.

“ are you sure? “ she ask

“ I am, we need to go now, nice knowing you auntie. “ he said and bowed then he push me outside

“ I’ll pay the money, so don’t worry. “ I said

“ no need. “ he said

“ what do you want? “ I ask

“ just be my girlfriend. “ he said

“ I’ll just pay you. “ I said

“ from now on You’re my girlfriend. Come on, let’s walk to school together. “ he said and held my hand, I sighed

“ just until I pay you back. “ I said again

“ whatever you say. “ he said and held my hand tighter, I just held his hand and we walk together hand in hand.

I didn’t see Myungsoo or Taecyeon anywhere.

At school, many students are looking at us like we did something bad

“ they’re dating? But I thought she’s with Myungsoo? “ some girls said

“ I thought she’s with Taecyeon? “ the other one said

“ quiet! Suzy Bae is my girlfriend, if anyone here bullies her you’ll get it. “ he shouted and smiled at me, I just sighed and bowed my head to hide my face.
