She saw IU waiting for her and seems like she was going somewhere

“ nope, me and Myungsoo usually ride the bus but my Mother insist on walking because it’s good for our health. “ she explained

“ Myungsoo-ah! Did you eat already? “ her mom ask

“ I lost my apetite. “ he said and sat on the couch

“ maybe Suzy unnie dump him. That’s why he’s sad. “ his sister, Yiyoung said

“ we’re not dating! And I don’t like her like that, she’s just my friend. “ he said and went to his room and lock the door

He was practicing his guitar,

“ I promise Suzy to protect her, she’s my friend, nothing more, nothing less. “ he said to himself, and continued playing the guitar

“ but why am I feeling jealousy towards L.Joe and Suzy? “ he asks confused

He lied down on is bed,

For the past few years, Myungsoo and Suzy are always together, they always do stuffs together. And felt comfortable, they never fight nor argue on things, that’s why they didn’t know much of each other ‘cause they are both quiet

“ Suzy-ah, you’re just my best friend right? Do you feel the same way? “ he asks himself

He sighed

“ I’m not in love with her, I swore to myself that I’ll never fall in love with you. And I’ll keep that promise to myself. “ he said again and close his eyes. And fell asleep.

Suzy’s POV

I texted Myungsoo but he didn’t reply, maybe he’s asleep.

I tried calling him ‘cause I’m worried, he finally pick up

“ hey! Eodiya? “ I ask

“ home, sleeping. How ‘bout you? After band practice, I didn’t saw you so I guessed you got home. Did you? “ he ask

“ yeah, sorry I can’t wait for you, my mom is really worried, you know my mom. I’m just checking if you’re already home. So yeah. Good night. “ I said

“ Night. “ he said and turn off the phone,

Me and Myungsoo have been friends for 10 years now, since I was 7 years old and he was 8 years old we’ve been friends, but we didn’t talk to each other that much.

We played toys, we watch movies, we hang out, we shop, we composed songs but we really didn’t know much about each other, I can’t tell him my secrets or anything because maybe he will not care, I don’t even think of him as my friend when I think about it.

I sighed heavily and tried to call him again.

“ hello? “ his voice scares me all of a sudden

“ hey, we need to talk. “ I said softly

“ about what? “ he ask

“ about our friendship, we’ve been friends for 10 years now but we don’t know about each other, we just hang out like we’re not friends. It feels wrong. “ I said

“ I feel the same way. “ he said

“ really? “ I ask, shock

“ yes, that’s why I wanted to talk to you tomorrow, but it’s good that you called. “ he said

I smiled, we talk about each other and how we met, and we reminisce together, our childhood memories, we talk about our classmates, our siblings and families, it feels good talking to him, I feel that we’re really close now.

“ it’s already 1:30 in the morning, aren’t you sleepy? “ he ask

“ nope, you? “ I ask

“ not yet, weird. “ he said and we laugh

“ yeah, you always sleep back then, even at school. “ I said and laugh

“ you always hit me when I’m asleep, but I always get a high grade. “ he said

“ well, I only show that side when I’m with you. You know you’re my only friend I can trust. “ he said

“ really? How ‘bout your band friends? “ I ask

“ well, they are cool but when I’m with you I feel .. free. “ he said

“ really? Well, you have a split personality. “ I said and we laugh

He mentioned to me his family problem, he seems affected but he doesn’t show it

“ why don’t you try to talk to your mom? “ I ask

“ I’m not the person who talk to my parents about this kind of stuffs. “ he said

“ just try, for you and Yiyoung’s sake. “ I said

We talk all night about our personalities and stuffs, I felt closer to him because of this simple talk.

It feels so good to have friends like Myungsoo.

“ hey, let’s go to sleep, we have school. “ he said

“ oh yeah, I almost forgot. Did you finish your homework already? “ I ask

“ what homework?! “ he ask shock

“ the one that Mr. Choi gave. Don’t tell me you didn’t do it? “ I ask

“ aish, I’ll help you later at school. Let’s get some rest for now. “ I said and hang up the phone

I lay on my bed and quickly went to sleep.

“ noona wake up “ my brother said

“ nooooona! “ he shouted

I quickly stood up and saw my little brother laughing

“ aish! Mom! MINKI is annoying! “ I screamed

“ get dressed you 2, breakfast is ready. “ mom said

I went to the bathroom and get ready for school, when I went out I saw my brother waiting for me.

“ why are you still here? “ I ask him as I dry my hair

“ noona, can you walk me to school? “ he ask

“ you know I have school too. “ I said as I comb my hair

“ fine fine. Let’s go eat first, come on. “ I said and carried him on my back

He laughs; I just smiled at his cuteness

After we eat, we go out the house and went to Myungsoo’s

“ noona, are you and hyung dating? “ he ask

“ no. why’d you ask? “ I answered

“ because you and hyung are always together. “ he said

“ we’re best friends, that’s why we always hang out. “ I said and smiled

“ oh, but Yiyoung said you and hyung are boyfriend and girlfriend. “ he said

“ because she said, a boyfriend and a girlfriend are always together, that’s why me and her are boyfriend and girlfriend because at school we are always together. “ he said

“ Suzy! Long time no see! You grew to become a beautiful teenager “ Ms. Kim said

“ oh, I’ll call him. Myungsoo-ah! Suzy and Minki are here. “ she shouted

She hugged me tight

“ mom can I come with them? “ Yiyoung ask

“ I’ll take her to school mom. “ Myungsoo said, I raised my head and sw him staring at us

I stood up and hold Minki’s hand

“ let’s go. “ I said

“ oppa, I wanna hold on Unnie’s hand too. “ Yiyoung whined, I giggled and held her hand

“ I finally worked on my homework. “ Myungsoo said

“ oh really? You finished it? “ I ask

“ no, I just don’t know how to solve number 10. Teach me? “ he ask

“ noona, can you and oppa play with us later? “ Yiyoung ask me

“ at the park, we want to see the sunset together, come with us? “ he ask

They waved at us and finally they went inside their classroom.

“ where’s the cold hearted Suzy? “ he ask

“ don’t worry, she’ll be back when we step inside the campus “ I smirk

He laughs

“ hey, did you know that Minki and Yiyoung are in a relationship? “ I said

“ what? Are you kidding? “ he laughs

“ I’m serious, Minki told me, and his reason is because they are always together. “ I said

“ well, they’re just kids, when they grow up, they’ll forget everything they’ve done. “ he said and grin

“ who knows. “ I said and looked at the ground

We step inside the campus and many people are looking at us, psh. I’m used to it, I really don’t mind so is Myungsoo

“ Suzy-ah! “ IU tried to scare me

“ what? “ I ask coldly

“ you didn’t get scared? Oh phooey! “ she said and pouted

I smirk

“ hey, I heard that L.Joe took you home yesterday, are you 2 dating? “ she ask

“ no, never. “ I said in a cold tone

“ jinjja? “ she ask

“ yes, let’s get to class. Hey? Where’s Myungsoo? “ I ask as I look around

“ maybe he went to the bathroom. “ IU said, I just nodded and went to the classroom.

Myungsoo’s POV

“ hey, I heard that L.Joe took you home yesterday, are you 2 dating? “ IU ask Suzy

“ no, never. “ she said in a cold tone, I walk off, they didn’t even notice me I went to the pavilion and sat under the tree. I put my headphones on and listen to music

“ what if they really are dating? “I thought

So what? She’s just your best friend Myungsoo, you can’t stop her from liking someone. I sighed and stood up

“ that’s right, I’m just a friend. “ I whispered to myself and went to class.

I saw Suzy and L.Joe arguing, they look like a couple, I just stared at them for a moment and sat next to Krystal.

“ hi Myungsoo. “ Krystal smiled at me

“ hi. “ I said coldly

“ why are you here and not with Suzy? “ she ask

“ none of your business. “ I said

“ come on Myungsoo, we can be friends, and you can tell me if you and Suzy have a problem. “ she said and smiled

“ I just don’t want to seat next to her, hey. Can I copy your homework? I really need it now. “ I ask

She nodded psh. She’s so easily fooled, I copied her homework,  I can feel that Suzy is looking at us, I just didn’t really care.

“ thanks. “ I said and gave her notebook back

“ no problem. “ she smiled
