JiYoung

Since we were in Hongdae it took a little bit longer than usual to get to my apartment, so Baekhyun and I just listened and discussed music in the car. Then all of a sudden…

“Hey, JiYoung?” He glanced over at me. “Why… What… What was the actual reason you started going out with Kai? I mean it seems like you don’t feel all that great about him.”

I let out a long sigh. Oh, jeez. I knew something like this was going to come out. “Umm…” I did not know how to start.

Baekhyun’s face softened, “It’s ok, if you don’t want to talk about it now, we don’t have to.” He gave me a small smile.

Flashbacks of D.O and I just kept running through my mind. Then memories of this summer did too. The night of when Kai confessed and asked me to be his girlfriend raced through my mind.

Why DID I say yes to him when I knew I had feelings for another? Was it so I can get over D.O not liking me back?

No. That is definitely not it. Sighing I said, “I really don’t know. I thought it would help me… You know, get over D.O… But it’s totally not working at all. I’m just really confused right now…”

Nodding he said, “I’m sure things will work out in the end, JiYoung. It’s ok.”

Then we got to my building. When we got up to my apartment, we got started decorating the cake right away. It was so much fun, especially because it got my mind off of things.

We finished around 4:30pm. Then we heard the opening guitar rhythm from EXO’s What is Love.

“Aigoo, Baekhyun-ah. You love that song so much you made it your ringtone?” I said, giggling. He blushed, “Well, it’s not my fault I think it’s the best song we’ve made on the album so far!”

Rolling my eyes, I started cleaning up. “Jinnie-ah, I have to go, the boys are all home and they want to have an in home dance practice since the debut is two days from now,” He said with a worried face.

That’s weird, why does he look worried? He knows I would totally understand. Something is wrong, but I’ll just let him go. “That’s ok Bacon, I understand. Now go! They need you!” I said pushing him out the door.

“Are you sure I mean I could hel—“ He started to say. “NOPE, BYE!” I said laughing. He already helped me enough today.

"Aigoo, that silly JiYoung," I chuckled. But then I rememberd my phone. I looked down at Kris’ text message.

From Kris

            Yah! Come home right now.

            Fast.
