After filing the divorce and finishing things off with the court; you and your mom moved out of Seoul. You left without seeing Yong Guk but did manage to convince your mom into letting you meet 2NE1, BIGBANG, the ‘ulzzang’s, f(x) and your old friends. Old friends as in Tae Jun.

Meeting Tae Jun was difficult; you felt like you have betrayed him with all those lies and the immediate disappearance. He looked fine but it was awkward and he was slightly cold towards you but you couldn’t blame him, you deserved it.

His parents and your mom had a family dinner and your mom brought up a topic of engaging the two of you. However, Tae Jun politely declined the offer that he wanted most because he knows… You don’t feel the same way about him. You were thankful towards him and bid your goodbye with a tight hug and a kiss on the cheek.

Life in New York was different, it didn’t feel like home but knowing that your mom was always there for you made yourself accept the reality. You do miss Seoul; despite the punches and kicks you received on the first day of senior year in a new high school and maybe, just maybe… You do miss Yong Guk. But the little time you had with each other was too short to cherish.

4 years later,

“Yes mom, I’m here in Seoul and the plane landed safely.” you rolled your eyes; your mom had become so protective somehow “I’ll take good care of myself and I’ll answer your calls immediately.” you sigh “Yes mom, I will… Love you, bye.” you ended the call and drag your luggage with you “Where is he…” your eyes searched through the crowds

“Looking for someone?” the voice that you actually missed asks

You spun around and smiled at him “Min Jun!” you embraced him tightly

“Woah, someone missed me.” he chuckles at hugs you back “God, I miss you.” he whispered

“Me too.” you said against him

“Can’t we just stay like this forever?” he asks

“No, I came back here to live the moment, not stand in the airport hugging you.” you scoffed and let go “Did you bring it?”

“Duh, of course I did. It was difficult to persuade Hyung Seok to help me with it. He’s such a .”

“Isn’t he always one?”

“Well yeah, I thought he got over it a long time ago.” Min Jun shakes his head

“My baby!” you squealed once you arrive at the parking lot

“Really? Your baby? I didn’t know people could give birth to cars.”

“Tsk.” you roll your eyes and kissed your car “It’s good to see you again.”

“So, has your mom thought about what rules to give me?”

“Yes. No touching.” you chuckled

“That’s weird, we just hugged.”

“Nah, she said as long as you’re taking good care of me.” you shrug

“Haven’t I always? As your fiancé; I will take care of you no matter how risky it is.” he smiled and you smiled back

Over the years; you and Min Jun grew close. He would go back and forth from Seoul to New York to visit you and your mom loved the guy. He was thoughtful, funny and loving despite his used-to-be playboy self. After a few talks, both of you were engaged and you were happy.

It’s not that you forget Yong Guk so easy; it took you all your might to just move on and live your life as it is. He never even bothered to send letters or emails, or call you. Even Him Chan, Zelo, Dae Hyun, Jong Up and Young Jae had called you when you were in New York. It was a lie if he didn’t know.

You’re not exactly madly in love with Min Jun but you do love him. He has his flaws but you love him just the same and it’s not because he saved you; but because well… People can’t help but to fall sometimes right?

“Did she talked about the marriage?”

“Yes, huge.” you shake your head

“How huge?” Min Jun raise a brow

“I don’t know, she wants it to be the event of the century.” your roll your eyes

“Well, I wouldn’t blame her. I want people to know that this amazing girl right here is my wife too.” he pulled you close
