As you sit across from me, curled up in a blanket, and listening to music, I say your name.

“Hmm?”

I shake my head, laughing mentally at myself for just wanting to say your name because I can now. “Nothing.”

You squint your eyes at me like you’re suspicious but then smile because you understand. “Lee Jinki” you say and stick your tongue out at me.

“Oh, that’s right. What about…”

“Oh! That!” suddenly you laugh and even though I don’t see the funniness in the situation, I laugh slightly with you. “Lee Jinki, he and I only planned on going out so you would admit your feelings for me.”

“Eh?!”

You giggle, shaking your head, and gave your attention to the mp3 again.

“HaNeul, what does that mean? …wait why did you break up a few weeks ago then? I didn’t confess yet.”

“Jinki, did you think I would forget that I was the one who told you to watch Love Actually? Besides, you called my name already and I called yours back. Isn’t that all that matters?”

A smile automatically forms on my lips. “You’re right. That is all that matters.” You snuggle close to me and put on of your ear buds in my ear. A familiar tune begins to play.
