Taeyeon, is a 6 year old little girl who lost her mother because of a car accident. She was deavasted because of the accident. She was with her mom when the accident happened and unfortunately, she thought that she was the cause of her mother's death. She stayed in the hospital with a gloomy heart and mind.

In the hospital, she met a boy her age. The boy stayed there because his hand was broken. He told her that he didn't have a mother either. His mother has passed away because of cancer. He introduced himself as Prince and Taeyeon introduced herself as Ginger because both, Ginger and Prince were their own special nicknames given by their mothers. They became closer and closer in a short period of time. Taeyeon was able to forget her sadness whenever Prince was around. They found a secret room in the hospital. On the rooftop to be exact, and they made many good memories there.

One day, Prince needed to go home unexpectedly. He has no time to tell Taeyeon directly since his father suddenly came and told him to go home. Instead, he left her with a letter and a pendant. The pendant was given by his mother. The original shape is a full heart but he gave half of the heart pendant to Taeyeon. Taeyeon of course was really sad when she found out but Prince promised that he will find Taeyeon, someday. And she believed in him.
