Story genre(s): A romantic tragedy, with a sprinkle of drama, I guess? IDK, It's my first time writing anything like this, so please forgive me if it's bleh-worthy.

This was written as a one-shot contest entry for unbroken's contest: Captured Memories, but it ended up kind of long. Make that reaaaallly long. Sorry about that.

Looking at it now, I realize that maybe this would have been better in multiple chapters, or a little longer. But since it's so long already, I think I'm just going to have to leave it as it is. If I don't make the cut for getting into the contest (which I probably won't, TT.TT everyone's entries are so good), I'll probably go back and find a way to edit this and make it longer. And more appealing. It looks bland, doesn't it?

Loosely inspired by SHINee's Sherlock music video. If you haven't watched it, here's a quick summary:

Team SHINee decides to go to a dusty old museum and try their hands at solving the mystery of the missing jewelry. With the help of a mysterious yet gorgeous ghost that appears and disappears, dropping a few clues in the process, SHINee is able to find the missing jewelry in a secret room behind a wall. The 'New York News' headline reads "SHINee finds the jewelry".

Over this past month, you've made me feel more comfortable and happy than I've ever felt, even when I was still alive. Meeting you has evoked emotions from me that I never thought I was capable of. I love you. I love you, but I can't hold you back from what you deserve. Thank you for giving me this wonderful experience of being in love. Just being able to spend the little time we had together was enough for me, and I hope that it was enough for you.  Now, wipe up your tears for me, don't cry. Breathe, and smile. My time is over, and you've got a life to live.
