Personality: I am very weird and calm at the same time. It is not a good choice to piss me off because I can become a very mean person if provoked. I love to make my friends laugh but hate to see them cry. I will do everything to help my friends. I don’t believe in love and I know I don’t need a man in my life to survive. Due to me being boyish, I have a lot of male friends but I can only select those who are true friends. Due to a past experience, I had a hard time to trust others but I do have people I truly trust. She has a habit of smirking and is famous for it.

Background: Born in Incheon, South Korea, Yumi moved to the US when she was younger and stayed there for a few years. She moved back to Korea and stayed in Seoul to finish her studies. She owns a popular coffee shop (which becomes a bar at night) in Seoul and she loves to bake cakes and make coffee. Beside her coffee shop is the house where she lives in. It’s not big but it’s big enough for her to live in. Sometimes, she visits the US to meet her parents but it happens only once every three years because of her busy schedule. She is also very sporty and loves to play basketball and soccer.

Partner’s Personality: Leeteuk and Seulong are both very funny and caring. There are times when they are serious and there are times when they become silly. They are overprotective of their friends and family. They both are very reliable.

Partner’s Background: Leeteuk and Seulong are Yumi’s friends. They are her closest friends and they know everything about her. They know her better than her own family too. Leeteuk works as a radio DJ while Seulong is a singer in the coffee shop at night.

Prologue:

While walking down the aisle, my hand around my father’s, I suddenly got a thought: why was I marrying him? I took an abrupt halt and my father noticed the disturbance.

“Are you okay honey?” he asked me, voice ever so loving. I looked at him and tried my hardest to smile.

He took my hand and held it gently. “You must follow your heart, sweetie, follow your heart.” He told me. I nodded. I removed my hand from his and gently took off my veil.

I looked at my groom, standing there and looking at me. He wasn’t mad, he was-understanding. “Go.” He mouthed at me. I smiled at him and nodded him goodbye. I slowly walked out of the church. That was the first time I ever felt free in my life.

That was two years ago. Now, I am working at a coffee shop in Seoul and go to college. The owner is a friend of mine and we go to the same university. I also live next door to her.

“Good morning! Welcome to Melody Café, what can I get you?” I asked our first customer of the day. Since this coffee shop is in Seoul, we tend to have a lot of customers but I know those who go here at this hour. He was new around here.

He smiled at me and took off his hat and shades. I noticed that he was very good looking and rather tall. “One latte please.” He casually said. I nodded and began preparing his drink.

“This is the first time I saw you here, sir.” I told him as I served him his drink. The owner of the shop passed by, not forgetting to give me her famous smirk.

“Yes, it seems like, I have found what I have been looking for.” He told me. I looked at him but shrugged it off. This guy was seriously weird.
