The Dangerous Cinderella’s Knight in Shining Armor

Description

“Class, please welcome your newest classmate, Kim Heechul. He is a transferee from Busan, so please be nice to him,” The teacher said as Heechul entered the classroom. The dark-haired boy did a small bow and winked. ‘Handsome’ said the girls. ‘Beautiful’ said the boys. A certain girl rolled her eyes. Heechul noticed her and smirked to himself. ‘Interesting’ he had thought.

“Yeo Chaeyoung,” the teacher called the girl with her headphones placed firmly on her head. The said girl looked at her teacher and cocked and eyebrow. “Heechul-ssi, you will be sitting beside Chaeyoung.” Chaeyoung rolled her eyes and raised her hand for Heechul to see. The girls and boys in the class were giving her death glares but she only glared back. “That’s all for today. Please go to your next class.”

Chaeyoung picked up her bag and draped it over her shoulder. She took off her headphones. She looked out the window as she removed her ponytail before tying it again. Heechul was only looking at her. Finally, Chaeyoung finally noticed him and looked. “Well? What are you waiting for?”

Heechul rolled his eyes before looking up to her. “I don’t know where my next class is.” It was Chaeyoung’s turn to roll her eyes. She held out her hand. “What’s that for?” “Give me your schedule.” Heechul took out a folded piece of paper and gave it to Chaeyoung. “Hm, you have an hour for free time right now. Your class after that hour is Biology.” Heechul nodded. Chaeyoung returned the paper.

Chaeyoung started walking when Heechul grabbed her arm. “Wait,” he said. Chaeyoung only looked at him with an empty face. “I’m not the kind of person you’d want to talk to, Kim Heechul. You don’t want to be friends with me nor do you want to be seen with me or even talking to me.” She said as she pulled her arm and disappeared through the busy halls.

“But, I didn’t even say thank you.”

[Field]

With an hour left to do nothing, Heechul decided to walk around the school and get to know it better. He didn’t like transferring schools, but he didn’t have much of a choice. He sat on a nearby bench under a tree just in front of the soccer field. He was staring blankly at the students in the field when a familiar person caught his attention. ‘Yeo Chaeyoung’ he thought to himself.

“Hm, looking at Chaeyoung, eh,” a voice said. Heechul woke up from his trance and looked at his side. There sat a girl wearing shorts, revealing her well-shaped legs. She had blonde hair. Heechul shrugged. “They say a lot of bad things about her, but I don’t think she’s bad or anything like that.”

Heechul’s interest perked up. “Bad things?” the girl nodded. “What kind of bad things?” he asked. The girl shrugged. “Well, for starters, a lot of people say she belongs to a gang that she works as a…you know…stuff like that.” ‘Oh’ Heechul thought.
