I wanted to do something special for our anniversay but I just didn't know what. Then this song appeared on my iPod and I knew.

"Umma! I'm scared!" I whined playfully as she prepared my makeup. She laughed.
"And you're laughing?" I playfully glared at her with a small smile on my face.
"Oh relax. You'll do fine. Even if ou , he'll still love you."
"You have no idea how many ways that sentence can be interpreted Mother. No idea." I laughed loudly.
"You're disgusting." She whacked me with the comb. I laughed harder.

I faced my mother. She smiled admiringly at me.
"You look beautiful. I know you'll do well." I smiled at her and hugged her.
"Thanks mom." I said softly. She let me go and walked with me towards the door.

I walked up to the navy blue curtain and peekd out of it. Tao was sitting in the front row of chairs and looked as happy as ever.
"Stop peeking. You'll get all night to peek at him after this." Minjoo scolded me. I giggled quietly and backed away from the curtain.
"Lat's practice that high note because you couldn't get it last night. Let's go." Minjoo began to sing:

I joined her.

"You're good to go." She hugged me and left to go outside and find her seat.
I felt a tap on my shoulder and I turned to see Tao's friend SuHo. He smled and gave me mic.
"Knock him senseless. I know you can." He winked and left quickly. I heard my mother on stage MCing.
"And now, the star of the evening..." She gestured towards me, as I was standing at the side now, the mic nervously twirling in my hands. She winked and I smiled, feeling confident. The music started.
