Patience
Description
Gwen Koch and her family have moved to Seoul. She doesn't know anyone, and doesn't really want anyone to know her. The move wasn't her choice, and she's bent on making a point of showing that she doesn't want to be there. Her parents enroll her in a school close to their home, and they even go so far as to ask a neighbor and fellow student to walk with Gwen to and from school.
Her plan is to shove everyone away, but Choi Seunghyun, the student that is to walk with her to and from school, has more patience than Gwen had anticipated.
It's a battle of wills.

I flung the door open and started out the door when I stopped short. There was a young man standing squarely on the welcome mat my mom had placed on the porch, in an attempt to make the new house seem more familiar.
The mat may have been familiar, but the guy standing on it certainly was not. He had hair that I suppose could be considered long—just touching the base of his neck. He also had sharp features that I suppose could have been considered striking. But he had surprised me, and I was too busy wondering what he was doing on my porch to care about how he looked.
“Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you,” my mom said as she approached, spurred by her curiosity as to why I hadn’t left yet. “I met a neighbor the other day, and she mentioned she had a son that went to the school you’re going to, and she seemed so nice, I asked her if it would be okay if her son walked you to and from school. You know, to make you feel more comfortable.”
Great.
This story certainly isn't fast-paced and as I'm still writing it, I don't know how often I'll be able to update, but we'll see.
Please enjoy~!
Please note that bold text throughout the story is what people are saying, but in Korean.
