He just put me down on the bed and covered me up with the blanket.

"Stay." his voice wasn't cold. Just concerned. He left again and came back with my favorite story book.
I was totally speechless. Usually, he would tuck me in and stay with me until I fell asleep. But tonight, it was different. He got into the bed beside me and propped himself up on the pillow, the story book sitting on his lap.

"Do you wanna pick a story?" he asked softly in Chinese. He knew I liked to hear him speak Chinese and he took advantage of it.

I shook my head and snuggled closer to him. He made sure the blanket covered my exposed shoulder. He flipped a few pages and stopped at my favorite story, The Pigkeeper.
As he read I started to feel sleepy. He glanced down at me every now and then, brushing my hair away from my face, softly patting my arm under the sheet. When he finished, I was fast asleep. Softly kissing my forehead, he got up and was about to turn off the light when I softly called out his name.

"Tao.."
He turned around to look at me.
"Can you stay? Please?" I asked softly. He smiled a tiny smile and sat back down. He drew me close and sighed.
"Sleep now. If not, I'll drug you and tie you to the bed." I said sleepily. His body tensed up.
"I'm not stupid Tao. You've been up until 4 every morning and just barely scraping in 2 hours of sleep before you have to go to SM. Sleep tonight okay? Just for tonight. For me. Please?"
I squeezed his waist a bit.
"Okay." He said after a few moments. He shifted himself into a comfortable position for both of us and soon, he was sleeping soundly. I slowly drifted back into sleep until....
"AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!"
