Foreword
It was the middle of December, and the snow had fallen beautifully on the airless night. Many people came and went, and some teenagers were singing their hearts out. The tune of the song brought back bittersweet memories to her heart. She was glancing over the teens as she was window shopping, doing really nothing in particular. For her to be walking at night wearing shades would illicit some unruly response. But what the heck, she just wanted to be left alone. She is a famous star, but tonight, she decided to look rather ordinary. She hoped people would not recognize her.
A little further, there was a crowd gathered in the center of the park. She was curious, so she decided to take a look and join in as if she were a fan too.
The crowd was talking like a group of nosy flies, waiting for the program to begin. In the band, the bassist was tuning his bass guitar while making a comment to the drummer that he looked like Marilyn Manson in his current make-up. The lead guitarist, probably the lead singer too, was on the sound systems, checking if everything is in place and that there are no glitches. The rhythm guitarist was drinking his pop, observing his two colleagues talking trash and such.
The lady was feeling a little bored, wondering why the program took a while to start. And so, she decided to sit on a chair near one policeman patrolling the area. For whatever the reason is, she started to doze off amidst the noise.
….And the strum of guitar started the program…the voice woke her up from her slumber…

She stood up from her seat and slowly walked to the crowd once more. It was then that memories started flooding and tears streamed from her face.
