I slam down my alarm clock. I'm kind of annoyed of this part of the song, listening to it everyday, waking me up from my beauty sleep. Stupid Taemin, got me to stay up with him at the dance studio last night. Can't he drag Jonghyun, Onew or Minho?

I should get out of bed now… I stare at the alarm clock

7:40am

WNFUOANFODFOGNSOGSNGGNGSGSJGIBN!!!

I'M LATE!

I quickly get dressed and I quickly do my hair.

 

", I really am late now" I mutter

I grab a piece of toast and start running out the door.

"Good luck with your dance auditions!" Omma shouts.

 I would reply but I've got toast in my mouth and I'm running for my life.

 

I'm like 200 metres away from the school and I can already hear the bell, why is the bell times always so accurate? Ok relax, Tricia you're overthinking. Calm down and-

 

BOOF!!!

 

Ow?Ow!Ow.

Who the heck, just bumped into me?

I look across at the person who knocked me over.

" are you alright did I hurt you?"

Wow, he's hot. Like y hot, like OMG

Why the hell am I thinking about guys right now?!

 "Oh my god, I'm so sorry!" I apologized as I grabbed all my dance clothes and stuffed them back in my bag.

“It’s alright” he said as he bent down to help me pick up my stuff

I can feel my face burning up….

"No, I'm fine, sorry." I quickly continue running into the changerooms to change into my dance outfit.

 

-3 hours later-

 

Finally! My audition for Seoul Dance Academy is done!~ Well half done, I still have to come back next week for round two. But I can finally relax for the rest of the day~~~  

 

-During break-

 

I went to our spot at the canteen, they're usually earlier than me, especially Onew… with his love for breaks because he gets to eat chicken…

I wonder why they’re late?

 

"Umm excuse me"

I turn around to see who was calling for me

OMG its him

"I'm sorry I bumped into you today, are you hurt or anything?" He asked me

My heart skipped a few beats

"No I’m fine don’t worry” I gave out a nervous laugh

“I’m Kim Kibum,or you can call me Key, nice to meet you”

“I’m Tricia, Tricia Chan”

Ok, I am regaining my confidence.

“Tricia, I hope we can be good friends!~”Key said with assurance.

He walked away and Jonghyun sat down next to me.

“ooh~ who was that? Your boyfriend?” Jonghyun teased

 

I wish.

 

“Kim Kibum” I said quietly

“Kim Kibum… that name sounds REALLY familiar…” Jonghyun said “He’s that guy that’s in the same year as Minho, I heard he’s really good at rapping, dancing AND singing. People call him the triple threat”

“Where’s Onew and Minho?” I quickly asked in attempt to change the topic

“They’re still at their auditions” Jonghyun replied while being glued to his phone. “Which reminds me, Taemin told me to tell you to meet him at the dance practice room after school, he says he needs to tell you something”

“…I live with him and he’s telling you to pass messages to me?!”

 

What an idiot, I swear sometimes I’m the noona and he’s the dongsaeng…

 

-After School-

 

I quickly make my way across the school to the dance room to meet Taemin

I wonder what he wants to tell me?

I open the door to the dance room and I see Taemin with someone else, who I can’t see because of my really bad eyesight. I can only recognise Taemin by his hair, his mushroom toad hair.

I walk up to the two guys and my vision becomes clearer.

 

OMG.

 

i-i-its Key.

 

My heart skips a few beats again

“Tricia! About time you arrived!” Taemin said as he ran to me

Key sees me and smiles

“My heart skips another few beats

“Key, this is my little sister, Tricia. Tricia meet Key, Key meet Tricia. Key is my hyung and he’s teaching me some dance routines to help me with my audition” Taemin explained

“Oh o-okay…. So why am I here?” I asked

“I told Key that I had a little sister who was also trying out for the scholarship, for Seoul Dance Academy and offered to help you”

“Thank you…Key” I quietly said

“You’re welcome” Key replied

 

So for the next few days Key, Taemin and I trained really hard and my awkwardness with Key is gone. In fact we’re pretty close, and I realise that Key is actually trying out for SM entertainment next year.

And Jonghyun was right, Key WAS the triple threat, he had SO MANY TALENTS! And his English is really good. He’s definitely going to make it in.

 

One day Taemin had other assignments to do so he couldn’t come to the dance practise which meant…

 

It was just me and Key.

 

When I walked into the door, Key was already there waiting for me, so I quickly dropped my bag into the corner. And we start dancing. I don’t know why, but I feel very distracted today, I can’t seem to take my eyes off Key, the way he moves so smoothly, the way his y hair just glides with him as he does his dance and the way he-

“Tricia? Why did you stop dancing?” Key asked

 I quickly gain back my thoughts and looked at Key

“ What? Oh right sorry….” I replied

“Are you okay? You seem very distracted today”

Yeah with you here who wouldn’t be…

“No I’m just tired” I said trying to make up an excuse

“Alright do you just want to sit down and talk?” He asked

My heart felt heavy and started to beat REALLY REALLY fast.

 

So we spent the rest of the afternoon and just talked about random things…

Until…

He brought up the topic of love.

“Tricia, have you ever had a boyfriend?” Key asked

“U-um no…” I said timidly

“Have you ever liked someone?” he continued to ask

Oh god what do I say? What do I say?!

“Yeah, I like someone, but I don’t think he realises it” I said

This is totally not me! I’m always straightforward, direct and outgoing and honest! What is love doing to me?! Ok regain thoughts Tricia, be yourself BE YOURSELF.

“So what about you? Have you ever had a girlfriend?” I asked

“No. I haven’t” said Key

My heart skips a few beats and does somersault flips in my chest.

“Have you ever liked someone?”

“I like someone, but she likes someone else…” he replied sadly

OMG he likes someone?! I feel like a loser. My heart is breaking into little pieces.

“Who is this girl?” I asked curiously

“She’s….um….er…..  I don’t know how to say this but she’s you” he said quietly

OMG HE LIKES ME?! I AM SO HAPPY RIGHT NOW, KEY LIKES ME!!!

“Ummm the guy I like…. That’s actually you….” I confess

Key smiled at me

“Do you want to be my girlfriend?” Key asked

I didn’t even hestitate to think on my answer

 

 

“Yes”
