Narrator POV

"~~~~~~~- ah?" A soft voice called to you. Groaning, you turned around on your bed. A soft poke was felt on your cheek as you shot up from your bed, glaring at the victim.

"Neh?" You asked, controlling to keep you outburst from exploding. Your vision went into focus as you softly rubbed your eyes but your friend swatted them away.

"You don't want them to get infected!" Your friend, JaeWan scolded. JaeWan was your childhood best friend, and still was. He was sleeping over at your house because his parents were on a business trip. You rolled your eyes and grunted in response as he made a gesture with his hands to come towards him. You sighed, kicking the covers off of your body as you crawled towards him, crouching down next to him as his eyes looked searchingly at the computer screen that shined brightly, making you flinch and cover your eyes.

"JaeWan- ah!" You protested as your pupils contracted. "Lower down the brightness!" You complained again.

He scowled deeper as the clicking of keys were made.

"Good morning to you too, ~~~~~~~~~~- ah!" He said sarcastically. You rolled your eyes at your friends sarcastic remark and nodded for him to continue. "Remember that contest you entered?" He asked. You nodded as you felt your stomach drop. "Well, the results are here. I wanted you to see for yourself..." He added hastily as he passed you the computer. You shut your eyes tightly and opened them. Your eyes landed on an email and you clicked on it.

You threw the computer on the bed and smiled softly at JaeWan. He looked at you with sad eyes.

"You weren't picked?" He asked. You snorted at your friends' density when it came to reading expression. You hit him on the back of the head, making him flinch and rub it.

"Ani, you PABO!" You mocked. "I was PICKED!"

He didn't move, knowing how slow his reactions were. He picked you up on short notice and twirled you around.
