A Cup of Coffee Please
True Ghost StoriesI've been working at a baguette place for a month now. I haven't been here long enough, not long enough to know the history behind this place.
My job was to take orders from the Drive-Thru and collect the money from the customer. Everything seems fine until one day, when I start encountering a weird event
It started around 9 o'clock at night. Another 30 minutes until the shop closes. No cars has been passing by for the last 10 minutes so I was about to call my boss to let me clean up early until I heard a weird noise coming from my headphone.
"A cup of coffee please," was what I heard.
"Okay, that will be-" I turned to look at the camera but I saw no one.
"I said a cup of coffee please!" the voice became louder and I suddenly hear footsteps coming closer and closer. Horrified, I threw the headphone and ran out of that place.
I ran to where my boss was with a terrified look on my face. Then, I started to cry. Everyone rushed over and asked if I was okay, and I told them I was completely terrified.
My boss let me have the next day off and surprisingly, one of my co-worker came to visit me on the Saturday morning.
"Hi. How are you doing?" she asked with a bright smile.
"I'm fine. Just a bit scared. So what brings you here?"
"I actually came here to...tell you the past of this place." she said.
"Past?"
"Yes. The past of this place." she repeated.
"How about we sit down first?" I suggested. I lead her into my house and closed the door. We sat on the sofa face to face with each other.
"So I hope you will not be frightened by what I have to tell you today." she began.
I nodded.
"So 4 years ago, our current boss right now, had a daughter. Because he and his wife divorced, she became depressed and at the age of 16, she commited suicide by hanging her neck on a rope on the second floor of our shop."
"S-suicide?" I stammered. *That's awful.*
"Yes, suicide. So now her soul wanders around the shop and we have not call the people to come over and send her away because the boss dearly misses her and wish to have her around. If you are scared, but still want to keep working here, then I suggest you never go up the second floor."
"W-why not? Doesn't the boss sleep there?" I asked
"Yes, and that is also the place she commited suicide. So if you come in, you can see the boss playing with air."
I covered my mouth in shock and my eyes turned red. *How awful...I feel so bad for my boss, but I'm scared...what should I do...what can I do?*
I decided to quit working there since I am scared of the paranormal things. Although they all told me they missed me, they understood me and let me go at ease. And that was the story about the first place I had ever worked in.

So this story actually happened to my cousin a few months ago. Although she doesn't work there anymore, they all still contact each other and are still friends. Hope you liked the story!
