Bus Stop
True Ghost StoriesThere was always this one woman standing by the bus stop.
The same bus stop, at the same time, everyday.
She never get in the bus. She would always just stand there.
It was a rainy day and I was driving home at that time. I passed by the bus stop to see the woman again, but soaking wet. Being the nice person I am, I got out of the car and offered her a ride home to which she happily thanked me.
I started asking her where she wanted me to take her and we started a casual conversation after that.
Soon, we reached her house and she bid me goodbye.
Because it was late, I immediately started driving home.
The nex morning, I was a little bit late for work. I took my keys and started my car. I looked over to the passenger's seat to see a purse.
I thought the woman from last night must've dropped it. Although I was a bit late for work, I decided to go to her house to return the purse in case she was worrying.
When I arrived at her house, I told her parents that their daughter dropped her purse in my car, to which they responded by giving me a weird look.
"We don't have any children," were the words they told me.
"But I dropped your daughter here last night and she left this in the car," I showed them the purse.
The couple frozed.
Then, tears started coming to the mother's eyes as she trembled and reached out for the purse. She held onto it and cried.
Later that day I learned the woman I drove home that night, was dead, long ago. She went missing at a bus stop, and the only item she left behind was her purse.
