Tefi was as much of a hopeless romantic as she was an . Anne never looked for fights but always found herself at the defensive. Or in other words, tarantado si Tefi, palaban naman si Anne. The very first time they met, they were already at odds with each other. What if they took a shot at romance, just to see which one would fall faster, and which one would fall harder? All in good fun, right?

Ephemeral started off as a writing exercise for me, since romance and love stories are not my strongest suit as a writer. I wanted to make a one-shot for practice while I wrote AGNAB (Chapter 5), because that one also had a romantic element to it, and I wanted to better my technique so that the story wouldn't fall apart and the love story aspect would remain cohesive with the rest of the fantasy theme of the book. Writing Ephemeral became a fun experience, but I realized it is more of a hurt/comfort type of story than just the typical love story. So naturally, it became an Angst fic practice writing more than just romance. I still thoroughly enjoyed writing this one, because I got hooked wi
