One
The One I WantThe ringing of an aged school bell resonates through the field, across the roads, reaching the estates nearby. Students and children were all seen dashing to the gates of their school as a whole new year begins.
No one likes being late on the first day of school. But there's this one girl who was sprinting for her life, thinking she would be let into the school.
Unfortunately, she was stopped by the security guard, just a second after the bell rings.
Messy hair, half-eaten bread in her hand, socks not pulled up all the way.
"Kim Minju-ssi, what did I tell you about being late again?" The man pulls out his little yellow notebook, seeing the girl bow frantically.
"Mr Lee, the thing is—"
"Uh-uh, no more excuses." The man passes her a slip with her name on it. "Sign here." This is how the school keeps track of late students. And Minju had the honour of having the first slip out of the fresh notepad.
"I swear I left the house early." Minju mumbles, sticking the bread into as she uses the brick wall to sign the paper.
"If you left the house early, you wouldn't be running here." The guy shakes his head. Anyone could tell Minju's the best at being late, even being friends with the security guard.
The brunette sighs, passing the slip back. She looks afar as he slips the paper into a file.
Down the school hill strides a guy with a yellow band around his arm that wrote Student Patrol, a small booklet in his hands. Navy school blazer adorned with white lining suited nicely over his broad shoulders and long legs that could go miles.
His uniform had the school's crest sewn on in gold. Saebom High School.
Minju might've gasped when she noticed who it was. She quickly fixes her hair even though it doesn't really help as he approaches the front gate.
She was so jittery the security guard thought something was wrong with her. But anyone would react this way upon seeing prince charming walk towards them.
Kim Minhyun.
The school's most flawless man. First in the cohor
