On December 21, 2022, hundreds of families came to New York for a Christmas vacation. That was ten years ago — none of those families returned home. But if they had observed more, they would have seen the warning signs: the unusual flocks of birds across the New York sky, the miniature waves along the California coasts, the continuous earthquakes across the pacific, along with countless others. But even then, even if everyone goes silent to listen closely to the rumble of the earth, no one could have prepared them for what was coming.

     For those who were persistent enough, some, lucky enough to survive the successive disasters that seemed so perfectly orchestrated to wipe the human race off of existence, the race for survival didn't end with those calamities.

     Toughened by the circumstances, survivors like Sehun and Luna are now living in a world where love and happiness are luxuries they could never afford, where the silver lining has faded long ago, and the only thing they could ever hope for is to get through the cold and dark night.
