WHO ARE THEY? 2019 marks the first time ever for BM Entertainment to debut a girl group, or even a K-Pop group by the name of Fortuna. Although the path wasn't easy, Fortuna has grown so much as a group that came from a nugu company and to become one of the top girl groups with both domestic and international success, to the point that public could proudly call 'legends'.
But a few days after celebrating their 7th year anniversary, Fortuna disappeared into thin air. BM Entertainment reps then reported that Fortuna had collectively decide to disband and leave the entertainment industry. Despite the ambiguity and lack of informations regarding their lives, people eventually accepted it and move on.
WHAT NOW? Fast forward to the year 2036. BM Entertainment is preparing for their newest girl group named "Chérie". These six girls have always been compared to Fortuna, and very much resembled one of the six members of Fortuna. And even the staffs at BM Entertainment agreed with this, as some of them had actually worked alongside Fortuna during their golden times. As BM Entertainment publicly introduced them as the next girl group to the public, hundreds of conspiracy theories were created due to the group's similarity with Fortuna.
On the supposed debut day of Chérie, the girls find themself waking up to the year of 2018, 18 years before their present time, and exactly one year before the debut of Fortuna under the newly established BM Entertainment.
They will begin to uncover the reason of their similarities to Fortuna, all the while as they struggle to survive the K-pop industry with playing the roles they have been given to mask the actual truth of their personal lives, and trying their best not to change the past too much as it would affect the future -- their time.
