Soobin and Arin had been good friends for as long as they could remember.

 

It seemed like yesterday, for her, when she first found a 5-year-old Soobin crying loudly at the playground with scratches on his small knees. It seemed like yesterday, too, when she could easily mess his thick hair and get away with it.

 

Today’s 17-year-old Soobin was the one towering her and reaching out the book easily from the top-shelf in the library. To be brutally honest, Arin wasn’t used to the fact that 20 cm height difference between them could stir the feelings within her.
