"what can you say about my friend?" Seung-ri asked.

Christine kept smiled.

"I lied" she uttered

Seung-ri looked at her "you lied? about what?"

"Taeyang, I know who he was"

Seung-ri pulled over to stop.

"what do you mean" Seung-ri asked

"He was my friend before, back in Manila" she replied

Seung-ri kept silent. 

"he used to be my classmate in college" she added and looked at Seung-ri

"then why did you say that" He asked smirking

"I was surprised, I couldnt believe I'd see him again, I guess its true..Its a small world after all" she replied smiling

Seung-ri just sighed, he now realized something, Chrisitne is the girl Taeyang is talking about

"are you angry?" she asked

He just shooked his head.

"we're just friends back then" she uttered

Seung-ri sighed

"its okay..I'm glad to hear the the truth" he replied

"Someone wants to see you" her room mate uttered

Surprised and puzzled she went to see who it was,

 

"yes?" she asked, looking at two men, one was Filipino, one to her looks Korean

"good evening, are you Christine?" he asked in not so straight 

"yes po(filipino formal)" she replied

"I'm Mark, I believe you know Taeyang?" he asked her

She nodded, still looking at the KOrean man

"well, this is his Father, an dhe wants to tell you something" the uttered

"yes, goodevening sir" she replied

The Korean man bowed.

"I'm here to ask a favor from you" he uttered slowly.

She just looked at him

"Taeyang is my only son, and i expect him to take after me in our business, and I'm sorry but I don't

want him  to get confused" the man explained.

"That's why sir, I'm helping him so he can achieve that" she replied

"Thank you for that, but I think that is not necessary...that is why I am here.." 

there was silence..

"I want to make you an offer...I heard that your father is a farmer, I can supply all he needs in his farm if you will stay

away from him.."

Tears fell from her eyes, she thought of her father, then Taeyang, he had to make a decision, His father or Taeyang and her pride, but above it all, she chose her sick father

"I-I accept it sir" she uttered crying.

The man looked at her, confused.

"I want to reject you offer sir, but my father is sick as of now, and your offer will be of big help"

The man sighed, feeling bad...so he made a decision

"forget about it" he replied, he then prepared a check and gave it to her

"I hope this money is enough to hellp your father" she replied

"Thank you sir, I'll make sure I'd stay away from Taeyang" she replied sobbing

"no need" the man answered and left.

 

She cried feeling sorry for Taeyang and for herself...

"Tay(dad), opo okay lang po ako, kayo po?(yes, i'm okay, how about you)".......
