Investigator Kwon's POV

There's definitely something weird about this case. Boss wouldn't usually let me handle minor cases unless there would be no other people for him to do it. These are one of the rare times that he would make me take over a normal case, even when he has other employees. Very odd indeed.

Flashback

"Neh. You needed another case solved?" I walked up to my boss's desk, papers scattered everywhere on his desk.

"Ah Yes. I know you're the top in the region, so I have a new case for you." He smiled at me.

"Cheongmalyo? Is it a spy that was sent? Or one of the top three hackers? Or is it for another countr--" I was overly excited, I admit. The adrenaline rush  was just too strong. Boss halted me before I could say anymore.

"It's a serial murder case, Investigator Kwon." My eyes widened.

"Neh! That's all?" I was shocked. Have I just gotten downgraded? I asked myself.

" I know these are not what you usually do, but I just have a hunch that this will be big. So take it or leave it."

"I guess there's no harm on finishing this right? Arassoyo, I will take it." I said as he smiled at me and handed me a manila folder with all the details for my new mission.

Let's get this over with. I said to my self whiled driving to my unknown destination.
