Taking a deep breath, Haru took her first step out of the train onto the new and unfamiliar land. She was still in the same kingdom, just in a different province that she had never set foot in before, so even the air she breathed felt faintly different, with a hint of familiarity. Or maybe she was just being sentimental.   As she walked along the platform to the exit of the station, she pulled out her cell phone and dialled a number she memorised - perhaps the one and only number she ever bothered to.   "Hi aunt, I've just arrived in Kinvenia."   "Ah, Haru! That's great! Please remember to take care of yourself, alright?"   "Yes, aunt. I'll see you back in Listrhava in a month."   As she bid farewell to her aunt and hung up the call, Haru exited the station and paused, looking up at the rapidly darkening sky. The almost-full moon and some stars were already out, and the final rays of yellow and red streaks from the setting sun on the horizon were disappearing, replaced with darker blue. She didn't need to check the time on her phone to know it was getting late and that she needed to find somewhere to stay for the night soon.   Most people would have made advanced accomodation plans if they were travelling to other provinces in the kingdom, but - call it an old habit or paranoia - Haru felt that one could be all too easily traced that way.
