  "Sorry miss, we are closing in ten minutes!"   The tap on her shoulder and the barista's voice by her ear startled her. Her concentration and focus on her work disrupted, Wail looked up dazedly, blinking once and nodding to the barista without really understanding his words, until he walked away and she re-centered herself with her surroundings.   A quick glance at the clock on her laptop screen told her that it was indeed 7.50pm, ten minutes till the cafe she frequented midway between her school and home closed.   They are pretty on time when it comes to closing, Wail grumbled in her thoughts as she saved her work and packed up her belongings. Downing the last of her iced latte, she made her way out of the cafe and turned down the street towards her home.   As she passed by the plaza just around the corner from her apartment, she noticed more people than usual clustering around the royal notice board, where most of the announcements that came directly from the palace and the princes were placed. There hadn't been one since the civil war of the kingdom a year ago. Feeling concerned, she hurried over to take a look at the new announcement just posted up.    "Kaelos Ball? What's that?" Wail mumbled as she read the huge title of the notice on the digital screen. Her eyes quickly scanned the rest of the announcement before she snorted under her breath and backed away.
