In Too DeepLuke's POV
"Are you sure about this, man?"
"Never been this sure in my whole life, man. Not even when I decided to change my career." Charles answered while driving.
"I don't want to see either of them getting hurt. But now, I can't tell if I'm cheating on Dianne with Camellia or going behind Camellia's back with Dianne."
I didn't answer out loud. Rationally, I'd say, leave the other. The question of whom is a hard question for Charles to answer though. Easier said than done, as they say.
"I really cannot comment on that, man. I can't imagine how it is in your shoes."
The man on the driver's seat just stayed silent and pursed his lips.
"One can't really help whom to love. So, I guess, nobody's at fault here." Great. I ended up consoling him instead of scolding him.
"We're getting careless nowadays. I just hope that no one will hear us talk."
I just hope so too. I said in my mind.
"Know what? A part of me is hoping that we'd get caught, too." He honestly admitted.
Uh-oh. Nah. Not that. "Let's not hope for that. It'll be a big problem. A huge scandal, man."
