Shuhua was going to be late for her shift if she stopped for some food but the grumble of her stomach grew louder in protest. She parked her car in front of a little bakery that just opened and was luckily only a couple of minutes away from the fire station. The sweet scent of  baked goods and coffee hit her as soon as she entered the bakery. It kind of reminds her of her mother's kitchen. The interior of the bakery was so cozy and their cream colored walls were decorated with a couple of framed photos on the wall. Between the amazing mixtures of smells and the warmness of the bakery Shuhua felt at home. Shuhua´s stomach growled once more as she looked at the display cases full of appetizing treats, cinnamon-rollppang, chapssaltteok, gyeran-ppang, soboro buns and even kkulppang,they all looked so good, how could she decide on just one?

While she was trying to decide, a woman approached her.

-Welcome to Kneady Delights! How can I help you today?

The woman asked as she was wiping her hands on her apron and Shuhua felt her heart beat faster as she stared at her because she was easily the prettiest woman she'd ever seen in her entire life, the woman was tall with raven dark hair tied into a high, tight ponytail and Shuhua noticed that there were still remnants of flour in one of her cheeks.

-Hi, uh...I’d like a few cookies? Dasik, YakgwaOh! And one of Hodo-gwaja, please? The chief really likes them, wait IS THAT HAND-MADE CHOCO PIES?!

The woman chuckled, grabbing a box and filling it with the baked goods that Shuhua asked for

-Sweety tooth, huh?

Shuhua blushed

-Actually I'm late for work so I want to please my friends

The woman discreetly looked her up and down, Shuhua looked amazingly fit in her white v neck t-shirt, blue skinny jeans and even her messy hair pulled back in a french braid gave her a cute look.

-Where do you work?

-I'm a firefighter at the station a few blocks down

The woman widened her eyes

-Then I better hurry.

-You really don’t have to do that!

Shuhua said but the woman simply gave a small smile and slid the box of baked good across the counter.

-It’s fine! My name is Seo Soojin and I own the place.

Shuhua smiled while paying with her card

-Well thank you, Soojin ssi. I'm Yeh Shuhua

Shuhua said while picking up the box

-Come back again?

Soojin asked with a hint of something in her voice that Shuhua had not been able to decipher

-I will! See you soon, Soojin ssi

Shuhua said as she left the bakery under Soojin's gaze.
