Taeyeon stood at her window and stared up at the moon. One tear welled up in the corner of her eye and fell down her cheek. She felt a crushing heaviness on her heart. Taeyeon longed to see Jessica with every fiber of her being.
'I want to see your face Sica. I wish I could hear your voice right now. I miss the feeling of your arms around me. I just miss you so much.'
Yuri walked up behind her and wrapped her arms around her waist. She pulled her close and kissed her neck.
“Hello beautiful. You doing okay?”, Yuri gave Taeyeon a little squeeze. “What are you looking at?”
“I’m great. Just looking up at the night sky”, Taeyeon muttered unconvinceingly.
“I haven’t seen you stare at the moon that way ever, oh once back at my home. What are you thinking about?”
'Sica.'
“I’m just thinking about how much things have changed. Just trying to wrap my head around all of this.” Taeyeon looked up and continued to stare at the moon.
'I wonder if Sica ever looks at the moon and thinks of me. I wonder if she’s looking at the moon right now. I miss her so much. Please look at the moon Sica.'
“Taeyeon, please turn around and look at me.”
Taeyeon turned around and looked at Yuri. She smiled but her eyes were sad. There was no fire. They were dark and hollow. Yuri moved a hand to her face. “What is it Taeng? What is weighing on you so much?”
“Nothing. I just miss my family.”
Yuri put a hand to Taeyeon's chest and looked deep into her eyes. She pressed her lips to Taeyeon's softly and smiled. She pulled back and spoke slowly and methodically.
“I know you miss them, but it's only a matter of time before you see them again. For now you need to make more efforts to spend time with me. When you look at the moon, you will only think of me and no one else.” Taeyeon looked at Yuri and smiled. There was a sudden and eerie change in her demeanor.
“I guess I will see them soon, yes. And I think I should really make more effort to spend time with you. When I look at the moon, I will think of you”, another tear welled up in her eyes and moved slowly down her cheek.
Yuri wrapped her arms around Taeyeon's neck and kissed her passionately. Taeyeon grabbed Yuri and kissed her back but her eyes were dead.
Yuri pulled back.
“Actually, you think it is pointless to stare at the moon. You think you should spend your time with me. You think you should be happier now.” Yuri said, and Taeyeon pulled her closer.
“I don’t know why I was staring at the moon when I could stare into your beautiful eyes. I’m so happy. I love you Yuri.”
The words tasted like blood in , tinnier than iron and salty like the taste of the tears that continued to fall down her cheeks even as she said she was happy and smiled.
Taeyeon was trapped. She was trapped in a prison of mind control and she had no power to fight against Yuri. Who is Yuri actually?
~~~
“There’s something wrong with Taeyeon”, Tiffany said pushing past me. She walked inside my apartment and paced wildly.
“Come in Fany”, I said waving her in after the fact. “Come here and sit down for a second. You need to calm down.”
I grabbed Tiffany's hand and guided her to the couch. We sat down and and I wrapped an arm around her shoulders.
“There is something seriously wrong with her. Ever since she returned from her little vacation with Yuri. We have made plans many times and every time she breaks the plans at the last minute.”
“Do you think maybe she’s just busy? You know Taeyeon. She would never give up the opportunity to see her friends without a good reason.”
“It’s not Taeyeon. There is something really wrong Sica. I noticed some changes in her when she returned, she seemed distant and cold but I never said anything, but it's getting out of hands now, now she doesn't want to meet any of us, not me, not Hyoyeon, not even you.”
“Hey beautiful, where are the towels?”, Mina called out from the bathroom. Tiffany looked over at me and smiled devilishly.
“Jessica Jung, did you bring a girl home last night?”
“Not exactly. Give me one minute.” I got up from the couch and walked over to the bathroom. Mina was poking her head out of the door.
“Sorry beautiful.”, Mina said raspy and low. “I didn’t want to dig around in your things.” I stepped forward and kissed her gently on the lips.
Mina opened the door and stood there gloriously . She wrapped her arms around my neck and kissed me back with a passionate fervor. I wrapped my arms around her body. Her skin was still moist and she smelled fresh and clean. I pulled back and smiled. She really was a wonderful painkiller.
“The towels are in the cabinet next to the bathtub. Feel free to look through cabinets. I have nothing to hide from you, darling.”
“I love it when you call me that. I want to be your medicine. I want to heal your broken heart. Do you want me to help me dry off?”, she asked y as hell.
“I wish I could but we have company.”
“I’m sorry beautiful.” I pulled her closer and kissed her long and deep. I pulled back and caressed her cheek.
“No apologies necessary. Why don’t you put some clothes on and you can come meet her.”
“Alright. Thank you beautiful.” Mina closed the door and I returned to Fany's side.
“Oh, beautiful? What’s that?”
“That's totally how she loves to address me from the moment we met.”
“Aww. That is so freaking adorable. So who’s the lucky lady?”
“Do you remember me telling you about a beautiful domme I met at a dungeon in Japan?”
“You mean the one who kicked your daily?”
“That’s her. Her name is Chanmina and she showed up last night.”
“From Japan?”
“Yeah. She said she missed me.”
"Wow! That’s her? Do I get to meet her?”
Just as Tiffany spoke, Mina walked out looking like a vision. Her long curly brown hair was wet and she smelled amazing. Her skin looked even lighter against my black t-shirt and pajama bottoms. Mina brought a bag
