Chapter 1: i think this is a merman!baekhyun who lost his lover to humans (merman!chanyeol was probably his lover i mean ehuehe) so he's trying to get revenge from them, reincarnated!chanyeol happened to be the innocent man whom baekhyun saw and got reminded of merman!chanyeol so he trapped him but didn't kill him unlike what he did with the others, instead he "cursed" him (he turned him into a merman, contrary to the classic folk tale) so they could live together
