Wenrene apartment

Wendy arrived at home after settle with her work. Irene stayed alone at home as usual since Wendy not allow her to work since her headache would come back anytime. It has been 3 years since they are together. Irene remembers some of her childhood memories which make Wendy happy with her progress. She still works hard to help Irene to gain her memory back.

“Baby, I’m home!” Wendy said after lock the door

“I’m here baby, at the kitchen!” Irene answered

Wendy give warm hug to the smaller girl and kiss her cheek “What are you doing here?”

“I just finish make warm tea for you. Do you want to eat something?” Irene kiss Wendy lips after questioning her

“No, I’m not hungry. Just tea is enough”

“Alright, let sit” they sit at the table then Irene pour the tea for them

“Thanks baby”

“How’s work today?”

“Everything is fine as usual”

“I guess you’re not busy today since you can come home early” Irene play with Wendy fingers

“You’re right, plus I miss you so much”

Irene pinch Wendy cheek lightly “Silly, you see me every day. Don’t act like we don’t see each other for years”

“You’re very beautiful and loveable that I want to have you in front of me anytime” Wendy pull Irene closer to her and rest their forehead together

“Honey”

“Yes”

“Thank you for marrying me. Since I become your wife, I am the happiest woman on earth” Irene stare at Wendy lovingly

“Baby, you keep saying that words since a year ago…” Wendy stop talking when Irene place her finger on Wendy lips

“I want you to remember how thankful I am since we’re together. Don’t ever forget that. Marry you is the best ever decision I ever made” Irene peck Wendy lips

Wendy smile warmly “I always remember that honey. Remember that I will always by your side until I can’t do it anymore”

“You should always do it. No one will protect me if not you” Irene whine

Wendy smile bitterly but Irene don’t noticed it “Alright baby, I will do”

‘Rene, if you recover, will you say the same thing to me again? Am I still your wife if you get your memory back? Will you choose me over her?’

Lot of questions always play in Wendy’s mind whenever she stare at Irene when her wife sleep or when they being sweet with each other. Sometimes she cries herself when she think that one day Irene will leave her like she used to. She know sooner or later, she have to let Irene go if Irene push her away. She hope that when Irene remember everything, they will still with each other but she not expect it will true. She is not confident after all. Whatever happen in future, she will let Irene decide it. If Irene still wants her, they will together forever but if Irene choose her girlfriend, she will let her go. It was her promise that she never tell Irene since the day they decide to settle down last year.

Irene resting on the couch after they have dinner. Her head is throbbing again since morning. When it happen, she can’t walk a lot because she can collapse anytime. Her head hurt after the same dream about the same girl but she still can’t see her face. In her dream, she call the girl with nickname and the girl voice is really soothing. It keep lingering in Irene mind every now and then. Wendy also know about it since Irene always tell her wife about the girl in her dream

“Bear, wait!”

“Baechu come on, walk quickly. We almost there” the bear-like girl holding Irene hand as they on their way to the top of the hill. Irene is deadly tired but the bear still have lot of energy

“Bear, I’m tired” Irene catches her breath

“You easily tired because you lack of exercise. Come on, you don’t want to miss the sunset, don’t you?”

“Bear, piggyback please. I can’t walk anymore” Irene show cute puppy eyes that no one can resist

The bear chuckle “Okay, climb up” she bend a bit so it easy for Irene to climb

“Okay!” Irene quickly jump on the bear back

“Let’s go. Hold tight, okay?”

“Okay” Irene circle her arms on the bear neck and kiss the bear temple “Am I heavy?”

“No, still light as usual”

“Sorry because I troubling you. If you tired, you can put me down”

“Baechu, I will carry you until my back can’t do it anymore. You’re never a trouble for me. I consider this as part of my exercise”

“Thank you, bear!”

“Anything for you baechu”

“Baby, are you okay?” Wendy waved her hand in front of Irene

Irene jolt up a bit “Yes…I’m okay”

“Do you still dizzy?”

“I’m okay now after take meds” Irene smile

“Are you sure?”

“Yes, I’m positive”

“Okay” Wendy nods her head “Our flight to Korea is on Friday. If you still unwell, we can postpone it”

“Baby, I’m really fine. We can go this Friday. Your appointment is on Monday so you shouldn’t delay it” Irene pats Wendy hand

“Okay then. Let’s go to our bedroom”

“Carry me” Irene pouting cutely

“Yah, don’t pout like that. You know that it is my weakness” Wendy said while lifting her wife uup

“I just want to tease you”

“You’re naughty sometimes” Wendy peck Irene lips

“Say someone who naughtier than me. You make fun of me often, remember?”

“Am I?”

“Of course you are!” Irene squish Wendy cheeks as they giggle

Wendy put Irene on bed then she climb up and lay beside her “It has been a while…” she said suddenly

“No, I am dizzy” Irene quickly shut her wife as she knows where is it going

“Yah!”

“Are you sulking?” Irene laughed evilly

“No!” Wendy puff her cheeks

“Oh come one, don’t sulk. You said I am such a baby but you act like one now”

“I want you to babying me but you reject”

“How?”

Wendy whisper “Milk”

“You’re not kid anymore. Don’t ask for milk” Irene pretend like she clueless

“You play around again” Wendy groan

Irene cackle while scoot closer to her wife “Okay, come claim your milk” she said and Wendy don’t need to tell twice then she proceed to get the milk that she want

Seulgi arrive at the studio with her big bike. After park it properly in front of the studio, she skip inside greeting by her friends

“Hello!” she sit on the couch and take off her jacket

“Unnie, you kind of early today” Yerim said while looking at digital clock on the table

“I sleep early last night so I wake up quite early this morning”

“No wonder you show up early than usual” Yerim giggle

“Where is Sunmi unnie and Sooyoung?”

“Unnie is out to buy breakfast. Sooyoung unnie is on her way here”

“Okay” Seulgi nods then they busy with their own stuff. Yerim play game on her game console while Seulgi scrolling through her social media

Joy arrived few minutes later follow by Sunmi who come with paper bags filled with their foods

“Hi guys” Joy waving happily

“Hi Sooyoungie”

“Unnie, you surprisingly early today” Joy said

“Yaa you guys, this is not first time I come early” Seulgi whining

“But it is first time in a while. Usually you will arrived 5 minutes before working hour” Sunmi said

“I sleep early last night unnie”

“Oh I see”

They start eating their breakfast that Sunmi bought earlier. They decide to eat breakfast together at the studio so they don’t need to cook early at home. Sometimes they cook but when everyone is lazy, they just order from nearby café

“Girls, the new vocal coach from Canada will come next week on Monday so come early next week” Sunmi announce

“Oh, I forgot that we will have new member” said Seulgi

“I heard that she is very talented in singing. I can’t wait to hear her voice” said Joy

“From what I heard from Henry Studio, she is the most talented singer” Sunmi said

“Why she not just debut as artist?” Yerim asked

“Maybe she doesn’t want lot of attention so she just becomes a vocal teacher. She produces lot of talented singer at overseas so working with her is such a great pleasure” Sunmi seem like can’t stop praising their soon-to-be member

“It will be fun to work with someone that has amazing talent” Joy chirped in excitement

“If she can sing well and dance, she is definitely Seulgi unnie partner” Yerim nudging the bear

“You’re right, unnie is very good at everything. Singing, dancing, good looking and stunning, her well-build abs is extra credit” Joy honestly praising Seulgi

“Ayy, you guys also very good in lot of things. I can’t ever rap” Seulgi said embarrassingly

“But still you’re the most talented here” Sunmi support Joy and Yerim statement

“Stop praising me” Seulgi fanning herself

The girls laughed at her antics “Seul, she is same age with you so you two will make powerful partner. I just can’t wait for her to come and make both of you work together”

“Unnie, I take the statement in 2 ways” Seulgi said innocently

“How?”

“When you talk about partner and you want to see us together, I hear it like you want it in romantic way” Sunmi, Joy and Yerim nods and waiting for Seulgi to continue “In term of work, I also excited to work together with her”

“Oh Kang Seulgi, please if you want to take it in romantic way, it’s not a big deal too. It has been 3 years or so; I guess it not bad if you want to move on” Sunmi look into Seulgi eyes

“No unnie, I won’t move on and I don’t want to. I still hold on her no matter how long it takes” Seulgi look away as she avoids Sunmi eyes

“Suit yourself Kang, as long as you don’t hurt yourself. We just want the best for you”

“Sunmi unnie is right; we always support you and take care of you” Joy said and Yerim nods her head

“Thank you guys, I’m really lucky having you all by my side and never stop supporting me. You all never give up on me even sometimes I’m quite a troublemaker”

“Unnie, don’t mention that. We’re family so when you’re down, we also will feel it. Remember that we promise to stick with each other in every circumstance” Yerim rubbed Seulgi back

“I always remember that little one” Seulgi peck Yerim temple

They finishing their food then clean the place before start their work

Wendy and Irene arrived at the airport after long flight from Canada. Wendy seem smiling happily as she step her foot on the country that she haven’t visit since years ago

“It feels good to be back” Wendy take deep breathe

“Since I don’t remember anything from last time, I guess lot of things change here. You know it’s like 3 years since I left this country” Irene said while walking hand in hand with her wife

“You’re right, it do change a lot”

“Baby, can I tell you something?”

“What is it?”

“I feel like kind of excited since we arrive. My heart beat a little bit faster than usual”

“Really?”

“Yes, feel it” Irene bring Wendy hand to her chest

It’s true that Irene heart thump faster “Ohh, I guess you really excited to come here and get some of your memory”

Irene smile shortly “I hope so, I’m tired forgetting stuff”

“You will recover soon, trust me. Believe in yourself” Wendy caressed Irene face

“Okay”

“Let’s go to our ride” they walk out to the parking lot to meet someone that Mr. Bae prepares for them

A ride to their apartment took 45 minutes from the airport. Irene sleep with her head on Wendy shoulder while her wife holding her hands and look outside the window. She keep sighing every now and then while sometimes caressing Irene hand. She never tired holding Irene because she doesn’t know how long she can hold it like that. Never one day has she stopped praying so that Irene will be healthy but deep inside, she afraid that Irene will leave her. She know the reason why Irene heart beat crazily but she not telling her wife as she don’t want to burden her mind with that stuff. Not this early. She can feel that Irene have special bond with her lover and her heart excited to meet it partner. She really doesn’t know who Irene girlfriend is because Irene’s parents refuse to tell her. However, she also has planned to find that girl and at least talk to her about Irene. She hopes that one day God will bring her to meet that girl. She doesn’t mean to betray Mr. Bae and Mrs. Bae but Irene deserve to be happy. Either Irene stay with her or not, she will still search for Irene girlfriend. If they not together, at least both of them have closure for their relationship. It’s better than left it hanging and bring regret to both parties.

On Monday, everyone arrive early at the studio as Sunmi command. They are really excited to welcome the new girl to their studio

“Omo, I’m very excited now” Yerim squeal as they eating their breakfast at the studio kitchen

“Me too! I hope she also playful like us” Joy added

“Make sure both of you not bullying her. She is older than you” Seulgi remind the naughty girls

“We will try” both of them smirk

“Unnie, when she will arrive?” Seulgi asking Sunmi who busy eating her pasta

“It suppose to be on 9”

“Oh we still have time” Seulgi checking her watch and the time is still 7:50 AM

Wendy gets ready to go to the studio and she looked extremely excited. It is one of the famous studios that produce lot of good songs, choreographies, music videos and talented singers. She feels very lucky when accepted to that studio

“You keep smiling since wake up. Are you that happy?” Irene remarks while fixing Wendy shirt

“You don’t know how excited I am to join that studio. If feel like dream come true”

“I’m happy for you, baby and very proud. I believe that they will love working with you. You’re very talented”

“Thank you baby, you give me energy to go through my day so I thank you for that” Wendy kiss Irene lovingly

“I will cook special for you tonight”

“Okay baby, I should go now”

“Alright, I will miss you” Irene hugging Wendy tightly

“I will miss you too” Wendy kiss Irene forehead

“Behave well, okay?”

Wendy cackle “Okay mother” she salute playfully

“Stop playing around. Don’t speed up”

Wendy left the house and drives her car to the studio. It takes 30 minutes driving from her house. Luckily the traffic is not bad so she arrive 5 minutes before the appointment. The place look simple and there is middle size signboard showing the studio name ‘SUMMER STUDIO’. Wendy gets out of the car and locked it before head nervously to the door. She press the doorbell twice then the main door open.

“Hello” the blonde girl greet her as she open the door wide

“Hello, I am Wendy Son. I have appointment with Ms. Lee Sunmi” Wendy said politely

“You’re the new staff here, isn’t it?”

“Yes”

“Come in, she is inside”

“Okay”

Wendy amazed by the interior design of the studio. It look simple but have energizing vibe. The decoration is all about music. Inside the glass cabinet, there are lot of trophies and cups in displayed. They must be gain lot of prestigious awards, Wendy thought. Lot of pictures frame hangs at the wall showing the members with the people they work with. Some of them are their casual picture

The girl lead Wendy to the lounge where the 3 other girls waiting for them. They welcome her with wide smile

“Hi Wendy-ssi, welcome to Summer Studio” Sunmi shake hand with Wendy

“Thank you, it’s good to be here” Wendy said happily

“I guess you know me already but I still introduce myself. I am Lee Sunmi”

“Yeah, I am Wendy Son”

“These girls here are our members” Sunmi said then she looked at the girls “Introduce yourself”

“Alright!” the girl who opened the door earlier squealed “Hi Wendy-ssi, my name is Kim Yerim. Since you’re older than me, I will call you unnie”

“Okay then” Wendy gives OK sign to Yerim

Next the red hair girl introduce herself with gummy smile “My name is Park Sooyoung and you can call me Joy. I am younger than you so…unnie~” Joy said cutely

“Alright” Wendy laugh seeing Joy antics

“Yah, don’t show that aegyo” Yerim flick Joy forehead lightly

“Jealous”

“You guys stop fighting. I haven’t introduced myself yet” Seulgi complain

“Okay unnie” the younger girls giggle

“Wendy-ssi, I am Kang Seulgi. I am 26 years old”

“We’re same age” Wendy said

“That’s mean we’re not each other’s unnie” Seulgi said jokingly

“True”

“Wendy-ah, from your record I see that you’re major at vocal” Sunmi stated

“Yes, I am one of the vocal coaches at Henry Studio at Canada”

“Unnie, we heard that you work with lot of talented singers” Joy said impressively

“Ahh yes, I trained lot of them”

“You’re the best unnie”

“Since you’re in vocal team, you will work with me most of the time and Seulgi will join us occasionally” Sunmi stated

“Noted”

“We have our specific role and we don’t have any other staff. Just 4 of us” said Seulgi

“Seriously?” Wendy shocked since she expect there are other staff at the studio

“Yes”

“I heard that you all produced amazing works and I expect lot of people here”

They giggle “No unnie, we just work with staff of the entertainment company. In this studio, it just 4 of us and now 5 include you. We work diligently to keep the project go smoothly even we don’t have bunch of staff”

“I see” Wendy nods her head. She currently very amazed by their explanation. She can’t believe that it only 4 of them who work to produce such an amazing songs, singers, dancers and music videos.

“In case you curious about our role, I will enlighten you” Sunmi said “I am vocal trainer and a producer from this studio. Seulgi is dance coach, sub-vocal trainer and camera director when we work of filming. Yerim is takeover rap team. She is our one and only composer. Joy also a dance coach and in-charge of music arrangement also our audio director”

“Wow, daebak! Seriously” Wendy looked very proud

“Yerim write lot of hit songs for famous idol like Twice, Blackpink, BTOB, NCT, Taeyeon, Chungha and GOT7” Seulgi said while the maknae giggle in embarrassment

“Such a talented girl” Wendy said “Do you guys work on something currently?”

“We just end our hectic time 2 weeks ago which we work for Twice recent come back. Now we just work on some new music and dance for next project but it will be in 2 months from now so we a bit relax. However we will work for Twice concert and Seulgi is their concert director this time while Yerim will take over her role as camera director. Since you join us now, it will be your first big task. We will see which team you fit in” Sunmi said

“Okay unnie”

“Unnie, you have to tell her about rooms here too” Joy said

“Right, Wendy we have recording studio that is upstairs. Our tables also up there and we prepared yours too. Down here we have 2 rooms which are for vocals training. We have kitchen and bathroom. If you don’t want to breakfast or dinner at home, you can join us here. This is our second home so everything is available in the house. We also have bedroom upstairs in case we work until late at night, we will just sleep here. After that, we also have basement. We called it Seulgi’s room since Seulgi owned most of the space there. Mini gym available down there since our Seulgi is gym freak. Her big dance studio also located at basement”

“Alright unnie” Wendy take note on everything Sunmi told her

“Don’t worry about leadership, we don’t have specific leader here because we made this together. Since Sunmi unnie is older, she does the leader role” Yerim said

“This place soundproof entirely so we don’t need to think about it disturbing other people” Joy grin mischievously
