"We are doing this for your sake, Baekho," Jonghyun said as they tightened the ropes. Baekho growled at his friends. His hand tightly wrapped around the thread ball that Minhyun had given him. He wasn't sure what was going to happen and part of him feared Minhyun showing up in the village but he knew his friends weren't going to let him go. He understood their concerns but he didn't know how to make them understand his decision.

"You guys don't understand what's going on at all," Baekho hissed.

"Then tell us. Help us understand. You don't even want to tell us who it is that you met in the cave."

"Because I can't! He made me promise not to tell anyone about him."

"And you don't even know his name, Baekho. Obviously there's something wrong here."

"Nggg. That's not true. He's just... Cautious. I'm sure he would tell me his name if I ask when I go back." He twisted his wrists and growled, feeling irritated about being tied down. It was a different feeling from being stuck to a web and fearing that a spider hybrid would eat him.

"What makes you so sure about that?" Ren asked.

"Because..." Baekho realised Minhyun never did respond back with a confession of his own but that didn't mean the spider hybrid didn't have feelings for him. They kissed, it had to mean something and Minhyun wanted him to stay too. "Because he has feelings for me too!"

"And did he confess that to you?"

"Ugh- Guys, just listen to me. I'll convince him to come here instead. You don't have to do this to me. I'm perfectly safe with him. He protects me and he tries to make me as comfortable as I can."

"We have to. You're way too into this guy you keep talking about to realise how bad this is."

A familiar scuttling noise made Baekho turn his head. His ears were already accustomed to hearing Minhyun's quiet steps so his eyes widened when he saw the spider hybrid actually in his village with a wary look of his own. They gasped when they saw each other and his friends?

"B-baekho," Minhyun whispered.

"HOLY ! IT'S A SPIDER!" Minhyun winced at the screams and flinched. He knew he shouldn't have come out but why was Baekho being held down against his will? He wanted to help Baekho but his limbs all froze up from the dog hybrid's next words. "Sound the alarms!"

"No! Stop! He's harmless," Baekho yelled but his friends weren't listening. To them, there was a menacing large spider hybrid with legs that could stab through your heart and end your life in one swift movement. Jonghyun started dragging him away while the other two ran to get the other villagers. Minhyun was confused and staggered, taking a step forward and back in Baekho's direction. Should he get Baekho? Should he run? Should he attack them? But the first spark of fire made his blood run cold. Memories stinging his mind. "Run!"

Baekho's urgent voice made Minhyun sprint again back towards the cave. He shouldn't have left. He shouldn't have come out here.

"You fell in love with a spider?!" Jonghyun shouted into Baekho's ear.

"He's a nice guy! You're the ones scaring him now!"

Minhyun panted as he reached the forest. Just then, he felt something hit him and he glanced back. Someone had caught up to him and they were throwing rocks at him. His eyes widened as he realised that it was happening again.

"Go to hell, monster!"

Minhyun didn't know what he even did wrong to be called that. He didn't know why he deserved to be shunned. He hadn't done anything wrong.

"You should just die!"

Minhyun cried out as he rushed back to his cave but before he could make it in, he was harshly pulled. He yelped as his legs went crashing down.

"Burn the cave!" Minhyun's eyes widened as he saw fire being thrown into the cave.

"NO!" He howled and tried to scramble towards it but he was kicked away. He rolled but used his legs to stop himself. His heart throbbed at the very sensation of the webs lighting up on fire. His cheeks were already wet before he could register that he was crying and howling in pain at the destruction of his home. His worst fear was coming true and there was nothing he could do to stop it.

"Come here, you monster. You have hid from us so well all these years." Minhyun winced when he was pulled back by his leg.

"S-stop. Let me go," He cried and tried to push the villager away but more showed up with weapons and fire. Minhyun was frightened. He didn't know what to do. Hurt them, he thought, run. But he couldn't. What would Baekho think of him then? To hurt the ones he cared about. He was lost.

"Jonghyun, please. They'll hurt him," Baekho pleaded to his friend to let him go to help Minhyun.

"That'll teach him to stay away from us."

"He has done nothing wrong!"

"He kidnapped you!"

"He did not! You guys were the one who shoved me down there," Baekho argued back. "And you never tried finding for me. He cared for me. He took care of me."

"That- we did try. But it was too dark. Even fire couldn't show us how deep the cave went."

"It doesn't matter. You guys left me there to die. If it weren't for him, you wouldn't even be talking to me now."

They stopped arguing when they heard the angry stomps of the villagers coming back to the village. Baekho felt himself being torn apart at the sight of the bruised spider hybrid being dragged back into the village with his eight back legs bound together so he couldn't escape. Not one villager had a bruise on them, making Baekho's heart ache only more. 

"LET HIM GO!" Baekho growled, struggling against Jonghyun's hold and the ropes. Jonghyun was surprised since Baekho had never shown such aggression before but he held him back, afraid the villagers would hurt his friend instead. Minhyun glanced at Baekho and could only cry in pain. There were no words that he could say to make himself feel hopeful as he was left laying on the ground as the villagers discussed how to deal with him. He knew he shouldn't have left after all and now he was getting hurt again. He wanted to run, to hide but he couldn't so he curled up just like Baekho when he was afraid. 

"We should burn him."

"No. Starving him to death is more suited for a monster like him."

Baekho's heart wrenched at the sight of the people he had loved all his life now sentencing the one male he love to death. How could this be true? It hurt so badly. He didn't want to hear anymore, see any more. "I'm sorry, Jonghyun."
