after the call ended, Hanbin heard clattering from the kitchen

he followed Hayi and found her eating the room service food

“I feel starved” she is fixing food on a plate and set it in front of him

“you eat too” she said and continue eating her own food

the fact that Hayi is acting like nothing happened inside the room with their siblings is scaring him somehow

“Hayi, should I just pretend we didn’t had that conversation with everyone else?”

“what conversation?” Hayi looked at him innocently

“nothing” he decided to just pretend nothing really happened

“do you plan on going anywhere?” Hanbin tried again

“I don’t know, maybe visit the beach before sun down, wanna come?”

“of course, I followed you here, where else should I be other than with you?”

Hayi shook her head at his comment but she smiled so it’s enough for him

“lets bring some towel so we can lay or sit on the shore”

“it’s kinda cold to be sitting at the shore, don’t you think?”

“lets bring more blankets to wrap ourselves with then”

after having breakfast, Hayi went straight to the shower room

Hanbin went to his room and lay on the bed

he just remember he carried Hayi on his back last night and then he slept on the sofa, all the fatigue is getting to him

“Hanbin? you need to continue your shower or —“ Hayi was entering his room when she found him falling asleep

“oops sorry” she was about to close the door to let him rest

“Hayi” Hanbin called out

“we’ll go to the beach later, wake me up” he told her in his drowsy state

Hayi left for her room to catch more sleep as well

he’s on an empty corridor, the collums are high and there are doors almost everywhere he looked, his own feet moved on their own and he’s now walking towards what seems to be a palace hall

‘I haven’t visit a temple in a long time now, why am I in one? what kind of dream is this’

he’s now on an empty palace hall, there are four seats at the dais, probably for the King, his Queen and their heirs

the door to his right suddenly creeked open and it freaked him out, there was no one at the entrance but he felt a strong wind coming in, what scared him more is the sky outside, it’s a mixture of red and black, it looks like the sun is setting during the night

suddenly Hanbin heard noises, but no matter how hard he look, he can’t see any people, the only way he could count that there seems to be three people talking is because of the change of hum in the air, all he hear is buzzing, he couldn’t understand a word

then another gust of wind came, he heard coughing and yelling but still the words are unrecognizable

he’s trying his best to hear the conversation, it’s as if something is telling him it’s about him 

“... human?”

“... 24”

“... trouble yet?”

“I was ... ”

“shall I ...”

suddenly a bright red light shone near him, it was so bright he immediately got a headache from just glancing at it

“someone’s here”

it was clear this time, so clear as if it was said directly to his ear

he jolt awake, he was panting like he came back from running

“are you okay?” Hayi’s voice was soft but it still startled him, he wasn’t expecting her

“what is it?” she touched his shoulder but drew her hand back immediately

“what — why are you burning?!” her eyes were wide and Hanbin blinked his eyes, he feels like blacking out, he sees spots and his breathing hasn’t turn back to normal but he’s not feeling hot like what Hayi says

he saw Hayi rushed out of the room, but came back not long after, she’s holding a basin and a glass of water

“drink this” he did as he was told but when the water hit his tongue it stung him

he endured it and as he is drinking, he swear he could see steam coming out from him, what in the world is happening?

he’s waiting for Hayi to react if she can see the steam too, but she was busy with the basin with water in it

she damp the towel on his temple and Hanbin felt the tremble on her hand

“Hayi” he was surprised that his voice was so weak

“Hanbin I’m scared, why do steam come out from you, are you okay?” her voice is trembling now too, how bad is it to scare Hayi like this?

she touched his cheek and it felt like ice on his skin but he felt better, much better than the water she gave him earlier

“maybe I should call a doctor” she was about to leave when he held to her hand

“no — stay” he pulled her hand on his other cheek and he felt the coldness spread through him, he sighed, he feels more at ease now

he’s still holding Hayi’s hand as he lay his head back on the pillow

Hayi was forced to sit on the bed since he didn’t want to let go

“don’t leave” he whisper as he fall back to sleep
