You stared at him blankly, then at the clock. Luckily, it was still a few hours before you had to go to school. You had woken up really early. “Oppa… What you doing here?” Your eyebrows crinkled in confusion as you rubbed your eyes. You weren’t surprised, but then again, you were still half-asleep. Jongup was unusually quiet and had a melancholy look in his eyes. “…Gwenchana?” He asked you seriously. You blinked at him, slowly sitting up, “What do you mean? Of course I’m fine.” “That’s not what I mean.” Jongup replied. “I heard about Junhyung from the guys. He’s not… back for you, is he?” He inwardly cringed as you shivered at the name. “…I don’t think so. Well, I hope not.” You muttered silently, but you knew that Jongup had heard you. He ran his fingers through his bleach blonde hair and heaved a guilty sigh, “…Mianhae. I should’ve been with you at all times—“ You shot him an are-you-kidding look, “What do you mean, ‘at all times’? It’s not like you’re my bodyguard. You have your own life too, and I don’t blame you for what happened. Plus, in a way, I think it all happened for a reason…” Your gaze slightly softened as you whispered that last part to yourself. You had gotten a bit closer to the MYNAME boys, after all. Jongup noticed your gaze and looked relieved. *They were with her, after all…* “You… must’ve been scared when you first saw him, huh?” Jongup faltered in the middle of his sentence.
