Short UPDATE

There we were at his building; I couldn’t believe I was getting myself into this situation once again. But I have to admit, Eric does have a great body. Omo, what I’m I saying, this can’t be happing to me!!! I watch him open the door to my doom and walk in. “Abigail, are you coming”, he ask. I smile and enter, taking off my shoes and slipping into a pair of slippers. As we enter the living room I heard a noise coming from the kitchen. “Wait here” he said as he heads toward the kitchen. I heard whispers but couldn’t make out what was going on so I move closer to the door in order to listen. I didn’t want to be nosy but I couldn’t help it. As footsteps approach my direction I quickly went back to my previous position.

“Abigail, it’s so nice to see you”, says Soo Min. I smile at her.

“Ann-yeong-haseyo, Soo Min”, I said. I was shocked to see her here but a little relieve and a little sad at the same time. “Oh call me noona”, Soo Min replies. I couldn’t believe she was being so nice to me, I mean if I found my ex-boyfriend that I was still in love with bringing home another girl, I would definitely get angry, but she was so calm.

“You don’t have to worry Abigail; I’m not the type of girlfriend that gets jealous easily”, she says while glancing at Eric.

Girlfriend, did she just say girlfriend, when did they get back together, Omo, maybe that’s why he didn’t want me to talk about Soo Min. I couldn’t help but feel weird after she said that. I look from Soo Min to Eric. He gesture for me to follow him to his office. Once again he had a ton of paper work for me to do but I couldn’t fully focus. I kept repeating what Soo Min had said, girlfriend.

“ABIGAIL! YOU’RE HERE!”, I heard an exclamation, bringing me back to reality. I turned around to see Jae. “Ann-yeong, Oppa”, I cheerfully said.

“Jae don’t bother us, we have a lot of work to do”, Eric coldly said. We both look at Eric and back at each other, smiling together.

“Abigail, are you staying for dinner, Soo Min is cooking”, Jae ask.

I didn’t know what to say except my stomach spoke for itself. I was hungry and couldn’t pass up a free meal but what about Ariel. I would just have to call her and tell her.

“Sure”, I said. He quickly walks out the room leaving Eric and I alone.

I turn around and found Eric staring at me. I smile at him and got back to work for I couldn’t endure his expressionless face.

Oppa, when did she start calling him oppa, and inviting herself to dinner, the nerve of that girl. I can’t believe she has the nerve to laugh at me with that guy. And here I thought, she was after me but now I see she’s after Jae. But it’s not all a loss; I still have time to play with her.

“Mr. Kane, I’m finish”, I hear her say. I look up and grab the files she was holding out to me. I saw her getting up to leave, heading to the door.

“Where are you going?”, I ask. Abigail turns around and looks at me in puzzlement.

“Well, since I’m finish, I thought I would go see what Jae’s up to”, hesitantly answer Abigail. I gave her a fake smile and point at the chair.

“Not, until I say you are”, I said. She slowly walk to the chair and sat down. I could tell she was angry.  I began reviewing her paper work when I remembered what she said.

Go see what Jae’s doing; all she thinks about is Jae. For some reason, this bothers me but I have no idea why. I glance to see her staring at me, her face full of amazement. I find myself enjoying making her angry and seeing her reaction. I couldn’t help but smile a little.

“Okay, you can go”, I said. She got up and walks out the room.

I can’t believe he made me sit there while looking over the papers. I mean I’ve done this before. AH!! He makes me so angry sometimes. I notice he smiled when he realize that I was staring at him. Ah! I just have to be patient; it’s not that long more. I enter the dining room to find Soo Min setting the table while Jae sits down.
