[ Junhong is making some changes in his lifestyle. He is now going to the gym 4 times a week, paying for weekly dance classes, and taking online business courses. He's bought a couple shirts and a hoodie from the brand, Triple Nine 999. He's even started acting more like he doesn't care about anything at all. He's doing everything essential to becoming Moon Jongup! ]

Junhong: (smiling) I will win your heart, Hyeri... just watch.

[ At Mato Coffee Shop. Hyeri enters the shop, looking around. She sees a worker passing by. ]

Hyeri: Excuse me. When is Junhong coming in today?
Jungkook: He's not coming in today. 
Hyeri: (shocked) Really? 
Jungkook: He's been asking for more days off now. He seems pretty busy with other stuff. (leaves)
Hyeri: (thinking) Busy with other stuff?

[ Hyeri arrives at Junhong's house, riding her bike. She gets off her bike and knocks on the door. Junhong's Mom (Mrs. Choi) opens the door. ]

Mrs. Choi: Yes?
Hyeri: (smiles) Mrs. Choi. I'm here to see Junhong. 
Mrs. Choi: Ah. Hyeri, is that right? It's been a while. Junhong's not home. I think he said something about going to the gym.
Hyeri: The gym?

[ Hyeri steps into the gym in her clean, girly clothes. ]

Hyeri: (to herself) Well, I definitely don't fit in here. 

[ Hyeri starts to walk around, looking for Junhong. As soon as she leaves this room, Junhong stands up from doing pushups. ]

Junhong: Phew! That's enough for today. 

[ He starts wiping his sweat with a towel and grabs his stuff. Just then, there is a commotion in the other room. Junhong walks over there. Some workout equipments had been pushed to the ground by a group of older guys surrounding a girl. ]

Junhong: (notices, in thought) Hyeri!

Guy 1: This is no place for a girl of your likes. (smirking) But if you want, I could take you somewhere else and hang out. 

[Junhong rushes there and stands in front of Hyeri. ]

Junhong: Leave her alone. 
Hyeri: (happily) Junhong-ah.
Guy 2: Who is this guy? (getting closer to Junhong) And if we don't leave her alone, what are you gonna do about it? 

[ Junhong looks the guys straight in the eyes... ] 

Junhong: (grabs Hyeri's hand) Run!

[ Junhong and Hyeri make a run for it out of the gym! The group of guys are following behind and yelling at them. Once they were far enough, Junhong and Hyeri make a turn into an alleyway and hide behind a pile of boxes. The group of guys passes by. Out of breath from running, Hyeri looks at Junhong and lightly laughs. ]

Junhong: (looks at her) What were you doing in there?
Hyeri: What am I doing? I was looking for you.
Junhong: (shocked) Why?

[ Junhong stands up straight and gets his things together. ] 

Junhong: I don't know where Jongup-hyung is or what he's doing. I only see him a couple days a week at the coffee shop now. If you wanted to come ask about him, you should just go to the shop. 
Hyeri: (confused) Huh? I didn't say anything about Jongup-oppa--
Junhong: I'll see you later. (leaves)
Hyeri: Ya. Junhong-ah! Where are you going?

[ Hyeri stands there, speechless. ]

[ Hyeri is in her room with her mom. Mrs. Oh is combing Hyeri's hair. ]

Hyeri: I just don't understand. It's like he's so... different now. 
Mrs. Choi: Junhong is just growing up. People change over time. Just like you. Remember you were such a shy child and wouldn't even talk to anyone at school? And look at you now--following a boy into the gym. 
Hyeri: (whining) Mom...
Mrs. Choi: (giggles) Ok, ok. Just give Junhong some time. He may not come from a very wealthy family, but he's a good kid. He'll come back around. 

[ Hyeri nods and sighs. ]

[ Outside Junhong's house. Mr. Kim (the man who lets Junhong rent a musical keyboard from his instrument shop) is carrying the keyboard he let Junhong rent. ]

Mr. Kim: I'm sorry, Junhong. Until you've paid off the rent for the last three months, I can't let you rent this keyboard anymore. 
Junhong: (looking down) I understand. 
Mr. Kim: I'm going now. (leaves)
Junhong: (bows) Go back safely. 

[ Junhong turns around and sees that someone has been watching all this time: Bang Yongguk, a hyung he met in high school. ]

[ Junhong and Yongguk are now sitting in Junhong's living room, with two cups of water in front of them. ] 

Yongguk: (lightly chuckling) So you're telling me, you're doing all this just to impress a girl who came back from studying abroad and you think is in love with Jongup?
Junhong: (nods) Yes, hyung.
Yongguk: (moves in closer) Does she really like Jongup?
Junhong: (hesitating) I think so...
Yongguk: (smiles) Junhong-ah, you're not even sure of it yet? Why don't you just ask her?
Junhong: (shaking his head) No. I even saw them together. There's no question about them liking each other. 
Yongguk: Junhong-ah... You can't win a girl's heart by being someone you're not. You'd be better off just showing your true self to her. If she's really interested, she'll like you for who you are.

[ Junhong looks down to the floor. ]

Yongguk: (sighs) Okay. But what was all that about earlier? You got your keyboard taken away? 
Junhong: Ah... (embarrassed) It's just I couldn't pay the rent on time, so... 
Yongguk: Does this mean you're not doing music anymore?
Junhong: (shocked) No, hyung. Of course not! This is just.. temporary. 
Yongguk: (stands up) Well, sounds like you won't have time to come to my concert then. Whether you come or not, here.

[ Yongguk places two tickets to his concert on the table next to the cups. ]

Yongguk: In case you change your mind. (leaves)

[ Junhong looks at the tickets and sighs. ]

[ It is the night of the welcome home party Hyeri's parents are throwing for her. Mrs. Oh is holding onto her husband, greeting all the guests and laughing joyfully. Hyeri and Jongup are at the refreshments table. Jongup is looking through the drink options. Hyeri sees him contemplating. ] 

Hyeri: (to a nearby maid) Can you bring a glass of Nesquik for Mr. Moon Jongup here? 
Maid: Yes. (leaves) 
Jongup: (to Hyeri) I can just drink one of these. 
Hyeri: Really.
Jongup: (looks away) But I'll wait for the chocolate millk. 

[ Hyeri smiles. ]

Jongup: (looking around) Where is Junhong anyway? 
Hyeri: (her smile fades) He must not be coming. (sighs)

[ At Junhong's house. Junhong finishes tying his shoelaces. He then gets on his skateboard. ]

Junhong: (shouting to his mom in the house) I'll be back later, Mom!
Mom: (runs there and stands at the door) Be safe, Junhong-ah!

~O.O~

[ As Junhong is riding his skateboard to Hyeri's house, he thinks to himself. ]

Junhong: (in thought) Yongguk-hyung is right. I will never win Hyeri's heart by trying to be someone else. I'll just be myself. Choi Junhong. (smiles and nods) Yeah!

[ Just then, a car honks from behind Junhong and there is a loud BANG! ]
