[ In Mato Coffee Shop. Choi Junhong is working and dancing at the same time. He is working as a barista but doubles as an entertainer for the customers at his own will. Right now he is entertaining a couple of girls sitting at a table near the register. He is designing the coffee art while dancing. The girls clap happily and Junhong gives them a bow. ]

Jongup: Junhong-ah, that's enough. There are more orders. 
Junhong: Yes, sir! (goes back to making coffee)

[ Moon Jongup is the son of the owner of Mato Coffee Shop. Although Jongup specifically said that he wanted to own a chocolate milk shop instead, his father makes him come and manage this shop. Nevertheless, Jongup still works hard to keep the shop up and running. As Junhong is making more coffee to fill the orders... ]

"I'm back!!"

[ Oh Hyeri, a childhood friend of Jongup's and Junhong's appears at the door of the shop. She quickly walks up to them at the counter. ]

Junhong: (confused) You are...?
Jongup: (squinting his eyes) Are we supposed to know you?
Hyeri: (scoffs) Have you guys forgotten already? I'm Hyeri. Oh Hyeri from middle school.
Junhong: (remembers) Oh! It's Hyeri.
Jongup: I still kinda don't know you but--
Hyeri: (excitedly) It's been so long, guys! I would give you guys a hug, but you guys are still working. (smiles) I'll give you guys a hug once you're off work. 
Junhong: Sure. Do you want something to drink? 
Hyeri: Thanks, but I'm on my way to see my parents. I even came here to see you guys before seeing my parents after studying abroad for so many years. You guys should feel very special right now. (smiles) I'll see you guys later! (leaves the shop) 
Junhong: (to Jongup) Hyung, can you believe it? Hyeri's back and she's so different now.
Jongup: How did she know we were here?

[ Junhong is closing the shop tonight. Jongup had an important "meeting" (with his parents), so he left the job for Junhong to do. Junhong locks the door. ]

Hyeri: Junhong-ah!
Junhong: (jumps) Hyeri, you scared me!
Hyeri: (smiles) I thought I would. 

[ Hyeri moves in to give Junhong a hug. ]

Junhong: (in thought) What is she doing? Oh, she's trying to give me a hug.

[ Junhong hugs Hyeri back. Just then... ]

Junhong: (in thought) Wait. She's not the Hyeri I used to know anymore. She's all grown now... and pretty too. 

[ Junhong shyly backs away. Hyeri is shocked, but shrugs it off. ]

Hyeri: Do you wanna hang out?

[ It is a warm summer night. Junhong and Hyeri are walking in town, holding ice cream cones in their hands. ]

Hyeri: (laughing) Really? Hoseok-oppa had a crush on me in middle school? I didn't know that. 
Junhong: (smiling) He did. He was too shy to tell you though since you were known as the girl who's gonna go places. Rich parents, studying abroad...
Hyeri: (stops) Is that all you see me as?
Junhong: (shocked) Huh?
Hyeri: (smiles, takes a bite of ice cream) The good old days in school when we thought reputation was everything. It's so silly, now that I think of it. 
Junhong: (changing the subject) What are you planning on doing now? 
Hyeri: I'm not really sure yet. One thing's for sure though. My parents are throwing me a welcome home party in about 2 weeks. I actually came here to invite you and Jongup-oppa. Can you let him know for me?
Junhong: (nods) Sure.

[ The next day, during lunch time. Junhong is looking around the coffee shop. He stops one of the waiters, Jungkook. ]

Junhong: Jungkook-ah. Have you seen Jongup-hyung today?
Jungkook: I think he said he won't be in until lunch time. 

[ Jongup and Hyeri enter the shop. ] 

Jungkook: There he is. (continues to work)
Hyeri: (sees Junhong) Oh, Junhong-ah. 
Jongup: Hyeri wanted to hang out.
Hyeri: Jongup-oppa took me to the zoo. (smiles) Typical of him. 
Jongup: (to Hyeri) I have some paperwork to look over. You can stay here with Junhong if you want. (leaves) 
Hyeri: (shaking her head, smiling) Jongup-oppa... he hasn't changed one bit. 
Junhong: Do you want something to drink?
Hyeri: Thanks, but my mom's waiting for me. She wanted have lunch and go shopping for clothes for the party. I'll catch you later. 
Junhong: (nods) Okay. 

[ Hyeri leaves the shop. A couple of minutes later, Jongup comes out of his office in the back. ]

Jongup: Junhong-ah, you're about to go on lunch break, right?
Junhong: (nods) Yes.
Jongup: I've got to go run an errand. Let Jungkook know to watch the store while we're both gone. 
Junhong: Ok.

[ And like that, Jongup is gone again. ]

[ Junhong is walking back to town after having lunch at home. He is walking and grooving to the music playing in his head. Just then, he stops. Across the street, in the McDonald's restaurant, he sees Jongup and Hyeri sitting across from each other. Jongup is shyly smling at Hyeri as she is talking. ]

Junhong: (to himself) I thought Hyeri was gonna meet with her mom... and Jongup-hyung had an errand to run...? 

[ Junhong, feeling a little down, walks back to the shop. ]

[ Inside McDonald's Jongup is still trying to find a good enough excuse to leave the restaurant. Hyeri's Mom (Mrs. Oh) is sitting next to her and across from Jongup, asking him every possible question she can about his parents and their business. ]

Mrs. Oh: (excitedly) Ah, your father is so trusting! I still can't believe he let you run that shop at such a young age. I would never entrust any of my shops to Hyeri right now. She would definitely go bankrupt, ahaha! 
Hyeri: (embarrassed) Mom, please... 
Jongup: (awkward laugh) Speaking of the shop, I think I better get back to work now. 
Mrs. Oh: Oh no, stay with us for lunch. The more the merrier. 
Hyeri: (sternly) Trust me, Mom. No matter how much Jongup loves McDonald's, he's ready to go back to work.

[ Back at the shop, Junhong is still contemplating what he had seen. ]

Junhong: (in thought) They said they were gonna go do other things... but ended up eating together at McDonald's... Are they seeing each other? (out loud) Well... there's go my chance. 

[ Junhong puts on his barista apron and starts to make coffee. Just then, he slams the cup to the counter, turning heads. ]

Junhong: (determined) No. I am not going to give up that easily. I will win your heart, Hyeri. Just watch! 

[ He looks up and sees all the customers staring at him. Junhong awkwardly laughs and turns around to hide his face. ]
