Chanyeol found the book on the lowest cabinet while he was rummaging through the dresser looking for the medicine he forgot where did he put. He forgot many things nowadays, small things like where he last put items, if he had dried the clothes from the laundry, if he did give Toben his meal or not. Small things but still bothering most of the time. Sakura came on weekdays to help him, but at weekends like this, the poor girl was off to enjoy her youth and Chanyeol stayed, struggling to move fast enough without any backache.

The book caught his eyes the moment he saw it. It was hard to ignore, with its size bigger than normal notebook, its brown leather cover, the dusty blue ribbon keeping the book latched and locked, and the letter scrambled as the title

Journey.

It took a couple of seconds for his big, wrinkly hands to pull the book out of the bottom of the dresser and held it in his palm. Grabbing the golden-frame glasses he luckily saw sitting atop the dresser, Chanyeol put it on, totally forgetting the medicine he searched earlier as he scrambled to unlatch the ribbon.

On the yellowish front page, there was smaller, messy handwriting he recognized, he knew with his heart and he smiled as he caressed the name.

Park Chanyeol… and Byun Baekhyun.
