Just by looking at their picture,

it was enough for Seungri.

It was enough to bring back the memories that Saeyong and him had created together.

He just wished they could be still creating more.

But as harsh as reality could be, they couldn't.

She was gone.

Out of reach.

The love they shared had been severed with one mistake.

One crucial mistake.

“Yah Seungri! We're going out to club, are you coming?”

Jiyong called out.

Seungri sent his hyung a grin.

But the two knew well enough it was just a mask to cover the sadness.

Jiyong sighed and lingered on the doorway of his dongseang's room.

“You have to forget about her someday, she already has forgotten you.”

He said.

Seungri looked away, no matter how many times the truth had been broken to him,

he couldn't accept it.

The two had given their hearts to each other the day they became official.

And when it was time to return them, Saeyong never did.

Seungri couldn't retrieve back his heart.

Besides, what was the point of doing so?
Its rightful owner was never him, it was her.

Even if she had damaged it so many times.

“I know.” Seungri muttered, casting a longing glance at his phone.

Just one call.

He yearned to hear her angelic voice again.

Jiyong heaved out a sigh.

“Well we won't be back early, so don't bother waiting for us.”
he stated, leaving him alone.

Seungri waited till the front door slammed shut before reaching for his phone.

He dialed her number that had been erased countless times, only to be put back in the end.

“Yoboseyo?”
Seungri's breath stopped short.

What was he to say now?

“Yoboseyo?”

Saeyong said again.

She looked at her phone, it displayed 'Unknown Caller' in glowing letters.

She was about to hang up until a voice answered her back.

She gasped.

She knew that voice.

“S-Seungri?”

The name was foreign to her.

It had been so long since she last said that it.

“S-Sa-Saeyong? Is this really you?”

Seungri asked, hoping to start a conversation.

“Yeah, what – no, how did you get my number?

Haven't you deleted it by now?”

Saeyong questioned.

If he hadn't yet, it surely surprised her,

for she had deleted his in effort of forgetting about him.

Meanwhile, Seungri pondered on how he should answer.

Should I tell the truth?

Or should I lie?

In the end, Seungri didn't chose the latter.

Lying was the number one reason their relationship had torn apart.

“I never got the chance to delete it.”

He said.

Okay, so that was half the truth at least.

“Oh well, I g-got to go now. I hope your doing well.

Goodbye Seungri-shii.”

Saeyong said, preparing to hang up.

Seungri closed his eyes, moments in the past rushing through him.

I hate you.”

The once sweet words she used to speak, gone.

All because of him being a fool.

I never want to see you again you liar!”

she screamed, tears pouring out those beautiful eyes.

Seungri wished he could just pull her into a hug, but he knew he deserved all this.

He caused all this.

It was his fault.

Goodbye Seungri.”
and with that, she was out the door.

Seungri fell to his knees, the dread and guilt overwhelming him.

Oh how he wished to take back his mistake.

Then maybe the could be still together right now.

“W-wait, Saeyong.”
Seungri said.

He wasn't about to let her go.

He could never do that.

He hadn't been able to do in the past.

How was he to start now?

“Yes?”

Saeyong said, waiting for his response.

“I'm sorry.”
Saeyong bit her bottom lip.

If he only said that earlier, then maybe, she would have forgiven him and come back.

But it was too late now, her parents had arranged a marriage for her.

And there was no possibility of turning back.

After all, she would be wedded by next Sunday.

“I-it's okay. I forgive you Seungri.”
Saeyong said.

“Oh and, by the way, you still live in the same dorm right?”

she asked, taking hold of the last wedding invitation.

It was meant for him.

“Yeah, why?”

Sayong hesitated.

Should she tell him?
How would he react?
“I'll be sending an invitation to you.

The others are free to come too if they want.

I hope you can come, but I'll understand if you can't.

Bye Se – oppa.”

and with that, Saeyong hung up.

And the tears began to fall.

Even if I remain as a fool with only tears
I can't forget you at all
Maybe I can't help it
And every night, again tears baby”

;_; Sad cliffhanger. I hope you're going to write another chapter for this story because it's very good. It was simple yet that's what makes the story very touching.
