Yui attempted to get Meiqi's attention all day at school, but the girl kept ignoring her and avoided her at all cost. At the end of the day, the Korean girl had enough and was determined to get some answers. When the bell rang and students began to leave the school, Yui stopped Meiqi at the front of the gates with a fiery look in her eyes. Meiqi shot her an equally intimidating glare and stepped to the side, but was stopped once again by Yui. Turning away with an annoyed scoff, Yui decided that was the last strawand she grabbed the Chinese girl's shoulders.

"What's wrong with you?! Why do you keep avoiding me?!" Yui asked angrily. "Is it something I did? If it is, then I'm sorry!"

"Go back to your girlfriend!" Meiqi yelled and slapped the hands off her body. "I'm sure she wouldn't be happy to see you talking to another girl!"

"Why do you keep bringing her up again?! Is that what it is?"

"What if it is?!"

"What did she do to you to make you like this?"

"SHE STOLE YOU AWAY FROM ME!!!"

Yui was taken aback from the sudden raise of Meiqi's tone. The latter was breathing heavily and her large eyes were beginning to brim with tears. For the thirteen years of knowing Meiqi, Yui had never seen her react like this. She was always known as the tough, independent girl who rarely showed her emotions but right now, that façade disappeared when tears slid down her cheeks. 

"M-Meiqi..." Yui muttered, feeling the guilt set in. "I-I-I--"

"I can't believe how dense you ing are! Can't you see that I've been in love with you for five years!!! And now you're just going to date some fancy girl who you've only known for a couple of days?!" 

Yui stepped back in shock and tried to get her mind wrapped around the information Meiqi just fired at her. Never in her life has the thought of Meiqi being interested in her crossed her mind, and what was even more shocking was when Meiqi tackled her in a bone-crushing hug. 

"P-Please be my girlfriend..." Meiqi sobbed softly. "I'm begging you..."

Yui stood still but the image of Luda appeared in her mind and she slowly stepped back again, attempting to gently pry Meiqi's hands off her. Heartbroken by the response, she tightened her hug and shook her head adamantly.

"Y-Yui, I'm getting desperate..." Meiqi persisted. "I'll do anything!"

"I-I...I'm really sorry Meiqi, I only see you as a friend." Yui hugged her back, sorry that she could reciprocate Meiqi's feelings. "I--"

"Yui.."

Yui and Meiqi both turned their heads to see Luda standing a few meters away from her, holding two ice cream cones in her hands. She slowly approached the two as Meiqi stepped back and pulled her hands back, wiping her tears away. Yui looked at Meiqi for a split second before glancing at Luda. 

"Luda." Yui called and wrapped her arm around the shorter girl's waist. "A-Ahem, this is Meng Meiqi, my friend...Meiqi, this is Luda, my girlfriend..."

The awkward silence was killing the trio but Luda took the initiative to hand Yui the food and extend her hand out. 

"I'm Lee Luda, Yui's girlfriend." Luda greeted with a forced smile on her face. "Nice to meet you."

"Girlfriend..." Meiqi chuckl
